Fried rice is unseasoned. The picture of the food shows lots of broccoli, but the vegetables provided were primarily just lettuce. The upgrade to noodles is worth it as they are much better. I would not consider this to be hibachi/Japanese food, it’s closer to Chinese food, and the Chinese restaurant next door in the mall is much better. If you’re looking for hibachi, Sakura on Brandon and Ichiban on Electric are much better restaurants.

DONT VISIT THAT DUMP – IF THEY ARE UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT, THEY WONT LAST LONG – THE LADY THAT WAS THERE BEFORE IS SO NICE
For the last 3 years, we have frequented Saku Japan. Something happened – not sure what. I suppose that they may be under new management as the menu changed, the service was beyond horrendous. It was about 8PM, today I went there with my son as he always enjoyed the food there. We noticed the menu changed, and they did not have salmon rolls, and the choices were so different. This Asian male (Chinese – definitely not Japanese) who barely spoke English, started to take our order and then a young man finished the order. He was very nice. They did not have Bubble Tea as they ran out, we ordered a Sprite. As I was looking to share the Sprite with my son, I later returned to the counter and requested a cup. The Asian male in a nasty tone berated us saying, “We don’t have cups here” and hurried to walk away from us in a very condescending manner. I thought about it for second and reminded them that they make Bubble Tea and they are served in cups. I will NOT be going back ever to that place. The customer service and the food sucks. They are terrible!
