We have been coming here since it opened and the last couple have times have been absolutely horrible. We figured maybe last time was a mistake but we just ordered tonight and the food was completely flavorless. No indication the food was seasoned in the slightest, when I called the store the manager did the bare minimum to offer any help. Didn’t offer a gift card or reimbursement for the worst fried rice/chicken hibachi I have ever had. So now I’m out a dinner and the money I paid for it. That’s the last straw with this place, it has been going down hill fast. AVOID AT ALL COSTS THERE ARE BETTER OPTIONS!

I like the sushi here a lot. The Gustavo roll is my favorite. Today I also had the el sushi El taco El tekila roll and it was really good as well. The staff here are always very friendly. I also appreciate the chips and salsa.

We really like the fusion of Japanese and Mexican food. The queso is VERY good, and I also like the spring rolls as a starter. The drinks are good and reasonably priced (check the special menu at the front). Good sushi and fried rice. I’m not a big fan of the Mexican rice from here though. Small portions of chicken.

I’m usually not a fan of Japanese cuisine, especially when the menu has Mexican dishes as well as Japanese, but this spot does a great job! The food was very tasty even though it was a little strange starting my meal with chips and salsa. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive making sure our cups never ran dry and ensuring that everything was to our liking. I recommend this restaurant especially if you have a group that can’t decide what they want to eat collectively because the menu does offer a great variety. Will surely be back!

Two thumbs up! The service and the food were excellent. We came in 15 minutes before closing time and were greeted by friendly server. Our food was brought out quickly. We had sushi rolls, chimichanga and fajitas. Delicious!! I do recommend this place and hope to visit again.

We placed a to-go order, but unfortunately, the food did not meet our expectations. One of the meals was incorrect and did not match the menu image. Additionally, the chicken, rice, and cheese were excessively dried out, with the cheese appearing to have been broiled. Lastly, the steak hibachi dinner contained only five pieces of meat. We recommend reviewing your orders in the restaurant before leaving, as I should have done. Regrettably, I cannot recommend this restaurant, and I awarded it a rating of 2 out of 10. The experience was quite disappointing, especially considering the cost of the food.

My first time trying out this new restaurant and I have zero negative comments! Service was great! The owner gave us the volcano roll on the house, just because she wanted us to try it! That’s how you develop repeat customers! The food was delicious and enormous portions! I had leftovers for lunch the next day! The menu has an overwhelming amount of sushi options! Will definitely be back again with the whole family!

I went during the day, so there were not many people in the restaurant, but they had a full staff. Service was pretty darn close to perfect. This is a new restaurant (formerly the Bonefish Grill), and I was not sure what to expect with an Asian – Mexican fusion establishment. I had some sushi that was very fresh. My date had habachi chicken with rice and vegetables. I would order them again, but I am looking forward to trying more of the menu next time.

Honestly amazed by the concept walking in unbiased was difficult. Both cultures food can be undoubtedly overwhelming on the taste palate. But the ingenuity of the plates was magnificent. As if the tacos were mean to be eaten with the tacos. Had it been any other person cooking don’t believe it would have come out that way. The taco still tasted as a street tacos from Cali. The sushi reminds me being back in Tokyo . Thank you so much for this delicious experience will definitely be back.

Was confused by the name, wasn’t sure what we were getting. But when you walk in, it’s clearly Mexican, but yet they tell you they serve Japanese. Sushi etc. After being here I definitely would not order sushi. I can only imagine how long the raw sushi meat has been sitting in a Mexican Kitchen. If you going to get sushi it should be at a sushi restaurant not a Mexican restaurant. We ordered Hibachi while we were here, because it was Tuesday, and it was two for one, so we thought we would try it, and I’m sorry to say, but the Hibachi was subpar at best, it was almost as if they cooked it once, and then cooked it again/warmed it up. Small portions as well. The meat was super dry. We will definitely not be back here again unfortunately.
