Need a quick service and good food? This is the place to go. I have been here over 10 times and today I decided why not give a review. I went in for lunch today and it really made my day. The service and food were fantastic. It was quiet and peaceful. I ordered the Bento lunch box and a fog cutter. The lunch box is always on point. The fog cutter really cut the fog because I feel so much better than I did when I walked in. As a fellow restaurant employee, I really appreciate this place because with just 3 visable staff members they manage to make it all run smoothly! Thank you for your service!

Less than 24 hours ago, my husband and I agreed to have food from Sake Sushi (the Norfolk Virginia military highway location) which was delivered via grubhub in a reasonable timeframe. My husband treated us to this food and we both enjoyed our food and my husband selected the chicken katsu dinner. We both shared in the gyoza appetizer and I chose the delectable King Roll sushi roll (comes with tuna salmon yellowtail avocado inside with tuna and salmon on top) and the delish Sexy On the Beach Roll (comes with shrimp tempura spicy tuna inside and topped with white tuna and special house sauce).

New favorite sushi place. Went at 3 when most sushi places were closed since we had a day off of work and wanted some early dinner sushi! They have so many roll selections and the sushi we got was fresh and delicious. Edamame was fresh and well salted. Shumai was really yummy. Was really impressed with the chefs, food came quick. Hidden little gem!

I recently visited Sake Sushi Restaurant and had a somewhat mixed experience. While the Eel, Boston, and Chicken Tempura rolls were decent, I found the yakisoba to be pretty bland. The flavors didn’t quite come together as I had hoped. On the other hand, the edamame was pretty good.

I started going to eat here months ago. My fav is the sweet potato roll. I usually get it 2 rolls and vegetable fried rice. Today I had my 15 year old daughter with me and she wanted to try noddles. Maybe she thought it would taste like Lomein which is her fav but unfortunately neither of us liked the noodles. We told the waiter which was a very rude man who def embarrassed me in front of the others eating there. I planned to just say can I have the rice instead but as soon as I said “we don’t like the noodles sir” he said well that’s what you asked for didn’t you so why shouldn’t you pay for it if you asked for it!!!! His energy/aura was very snappy and rude. I said to him, you don’t have to be rude sir, I’m a customer. He snatched up all our stuff on the table and quickly brought us the check. Me and my daughter was going to get rice and more sushi to go but I felt so uncomfortable and put on the spot and the cooks and the others dining in was staring at us. Honestly they are never nice and friendly but we are paying customers. They never say you’re welcomed when people say thank you. They act as if you said nothing. You never get a smile, or a hello thanks for dining in or have a good day, just nothing but negative energy as if they hate us but the business wouldn’t prosper without our money. It’s unfortunate that people are so rude but it’s probably because the business is their income yet they hate working there. Hopefully I can find sweet potato rolls elsewhere. I will never return where I’m humiliated and don’t feel welcomed. High end restaurants have np with swapping out food to please the customer but I was treated like this over a small bowl of noodles and I come in all the time. Never again though!
