First time going here for birthday and it was very lively for a Wednesday night. The filet was flavorful and tender, the fried rice was yummy, the chicken was delicious, the soup and salad were also really good too compared to others that I’ve had. Even better than Benihana. They had colorful lights shining, the chef put on a good interactive show with fire, sake in the mouth, tossing food for us to catch, sang happy birthday. Will definitely come back here.

This restaurant doesn’t skimp on portions or food quality. Their entire menu is designed expertly with care and every roll presented beautifully. Best I’ve had in the whole state of Texas when it comes to freshness of the fish- and I eat sushi weekly in California. All of this coupled with extraordinary diner service- the manager, barkeep, and wait staff are the most genuine ppl I’ve met north of Dallas. They truly care about you and your experience, smiling faces, food knowledge. They actually want to be there and they show it. The dining room is in 3 segments, bar- dining room- and arena where you can watch chefs cook your food if you desire. Low lights here and there , casual vibe that you can dress up on date night. This concept is executed very very well and wish you the most success.

We have been coming for 2 years now, it’s gone downhill. The food is not the best quality. It’s highly priced for such a small portion. We had 6 people at our table including my husband and I. Ordered a 5 oz chicken and filet mignon combo. Such small portions, it’s definitely a disappointment. I brought up my disappointment to management and they did nothing to my make our experience positive. Needless to say, I will be not be returning. Service from our server was mediocre, but it was not worth $120 for dinner & a negative management experience.

I used to love this place and gave it a 5 rating. But now I would give it NO STARS.

My birthday dinner was so upsetting. As someone who does not eat beef and I hasn’t in many years, to be served a beef soup when I’m thinking I’m getting miso soup, was heartbreaking. I love cows and I would never order anything beef. Anytime I have had Hibatchi somewhere else I was given miso or I was asked which one I wanted if they serve both. It’s pretty dark in the booths so I couldn’t even see being the soup is in a dark bowl too. One sip and I knew it was not miso. I asked to check a menu because I would’ve noticed it saying beef soup comes with the dish. It just said soup.

My hibatchi was lobster, scallops, and shrimp. A big treat for me to order this being my boyfriend and I don’t eat out much and when we do go out it’s here for sushi but we have never had their hibachi.
The shrimp were like rubber and the whole dish was covered in a ton of brown sauce. No spicy sauces, nothing on the side just my seafood swimming in brown sauce with some rice.
I never complained to the server who seemed nervous coming back to the table after i was upset about the soup situation. I just picked around and ate the scallops and my bf’s sushi. I was just trying to enjoy my night without having to feel like I was just complaining about everything.
Then a manager or owner (no introduction) idk who she was, came up at the end of our meal to speak with me and said “I understand you did not like the soup” I was kinda bothered by that and laughed, I said “I dont eat beef and haven’t in years, so yea its a bit upsetting. But you might want to let the chef know the shrimp is really rubbery and the brown sauce was a bit much” I was polite but honest, more disappointed than anything. She said “Do you want more shrimp?” “I said no we are all done and if I take ot home it will be rubbery if I microwave it later. That doesn’t really make sense to do. I don’t want to waste food. I’m just taking my rice” she said “ok well we will fix the soup in our menu’s next time we order them”. I never got an apology, which I thought was odd but offered a 10% discount.
Like I said it was my birthday, any other day I would’ve just left because of the soup, but I love their sushi so i hoped the Hibatchi would be as good.

If they had been more understanding and tried to make it right to someone who wasn’t rude and just trying to get a discount then I would go back but their lack of an apology was disheartening.
Side note I have worked in restaurants for 22 years serving, bartending, and manging, this is not the way to treat polite customers when they aren’t happy with their visit.

This place is absolutely hands down some of the best sushi I have ever had. It’s even better than places we tried in Maui! They are fast and friendly with a cool atmosphere. The pieces are huge and delicious. Their presentation is like no other!! We come here about once every 2-3 weeks and the quality is always on point and perfect!

I really wanted to take a min today to write a review about this place. I discovered last year and since then, I’ve invited my sister, my mom, my close friends and my brother on different occasions to try it out. It is my favorite place to eat, I love the beef skewers and the teriyaki sauce. I’m also a fan of the clear soup and the jalapeño poppers are AMAZING! on top of that, service has always been great. And the deco and bar are so pretty and aesthetically pleasing. I haven’t tried hibachi yet but I will in the future. This is a hidden gem!

Amazing Food, Fresh Sushi & Great Atmosphere!

I have an incredible experience every time at Sake Sushi and Hibachi Bar. From the moment I walk in…COCO welcomes you with a smile. The ambiance is warm and inviting. The real standout? The sushi! Every roll was fresh, beautifully presented, and bursting with flavor. Whether you’re a sushi lover or just trying it for the first time, this place does it right.

The service is always excellent, with friendly and attentive staff who make sure I always have everything I need. Highly recommend for anyone looking for great food, (Micheal’s) drinks, and an unforgettable dining experience.

We had the most amazing ladies’ night here celebrating my birthday! The sushi was fresh and delicious, the cocktails were on point, and the atmosphere was just perfect for a fun night out. The staff made us feel so welcome and even surprised me with a little birthday treat! Definitely coming back soon — highly recommend it for any celebration!

Overpriced and underwhelming, with seafood that tasted like it was past its prime. Not a return visit for me.

I came to Sake with high hopes after reading glowing reviews — some even calling it the best sushi they’ve ever eaten. With our go-to sushi spot closed, this seemed like the perfect chance to try something new. Unfortunately, the experience left me wondering where exactly those reviewers have eaten before, because this was lackluster at best.

The sushi quality was poor from the start. The rice didn’t even resemble proper sushi rice — lacking that subtle vinegar balance and texture that makes good sushi shine. We ordered the Jumbo Sweet Shrimp sushi, which turned out to be nothing more than a raw, flavorless shrimp with a slightly old, off-putting taste. The King Crab sushi was no better, carrying the same “day-old seafood” flavor that suggested it was just on the edge of spoiling.

The spicy edamame was another disappointment. Despite the name, there was no real spice — instead, it tasted like it had been tossed in a mild teriyaki glaze. Both the Naruto Special Roll and Red Heart Roll were bland and forgettable, lacking the vibrant flavors and textures you expect from well-crafted rolls.

To be clear, this isn’t written out of malice — it’s simply not worth the money. At over $120 for the meal, the quality should have been far higher. Sake might work for someone who’s never had truly fresh, skillfully prepared sushi, but for anyone familiar with what good sushi should taste like, this will feel like a letdown.

We stopped based on good reviews while traveling through the area. Great first time experience for my seven year old. Ben and other staff members were great and very attentive. Ordered fried sushi that was recommended, and it was awesome. Never had it fried before. The sweet tea was also good. Great restaurant.
