From the eye popping flavor after the first bite to the next trip planned after the plate is empty. This causal looking restaurant is a rare find and a top contender for the go-to spot. Fair prices, hefty potions, and fantastic tastes. Its a surprise this place has it all. A more modest dining experience is potentially hiding this gem for others. Coming here on a recommendation I actually drove 30 minutes out and back to get another hit. ( I ate some food before taking a picture…)

We came here on a recommendation. We ordered the lunch special and a sashimi combo. The lunch special was a version of bento teriyaki and was average but good. The sashimi was an absolute rip off. The 9 slices were paper thin and very small and the price was $36.99 for maybe $15 worth of fish maximum. I will say it tasted fresh but the value was horrible. We won’t be coming back.

Ordered take out for the first time and everything was very good! The restaurant was cute inside and I hope to go back to eat in person soon!

The food was good but not great. I would say the teriyaki was 5 out of 7 stars. It’s kind of a mix between a traditional Japanese teriyaki with an American spin. The sauce was a little bland but I would come back again. The service was excellent and the environment was quaint. I had to nigiri rolls one Tuna and one Tamago. The sushi was a 4 out of 7.

Fresh wasabi, matcha ice cream, and spicy chicken were my highlights here. Visited on a Sunday with family. Will 1000% be returning next time I am in the area.

Back again and just want to reconfirm the high quality of food used at this establishment their roles are top-notch and their sushi rice is very very good. Went with the bento box and was not disappointed, only way it could have been better if you got to pick the nigeri that you wanted but their bento has chef special nigeri. My wife got one of their stir fry vegetable dishes and was very pleased with that as well.

Went here for the first time tonight, ordered takeout. We ordered Almond Chicken, Pork Donburi, spicy tuna roll and the fish love roll. Came out to $89. The man working was nice enough to give us a discount which brought it down to $80. As well as a free “salad” and gyoza. I say “salad” because it was literally thinly sliced cabbage, the same stuff they use for garnishes and plating… but I also thought salad and rice comes with teriyaki normally. The gyoza was the only good thing we got. The almond chicken was weird, large cuts of onion, bell pepper, and carrots not the almond chicken I thought it was… but not a big deal, we decided to try and eat it anyways but unfortunately everything was mushy, the chicken was all batter and it’s drenched in. Fried rice was also dry and flavorless. The pork donburi was such a disappointment, I’m pretty sure they also gave me beef. The just threw teriyaki sauce on top as well as carrots onions and bell pepper, never had donburi like that. It was topped with a handful of seaweed, overall just didn’t taste good and no runny egg on top. The sushi all around was a disappointment, super fishy tasting and mushy, poorly rolled, fell apart when you picked it up. We really wanted to love this place because the man working was so nice and we saw they had 4.6 stars but were hugely disappointed. We called them and told them about our food he offered for us to come back and give us a new pork donburi but we told him we didn’t want to drive all the way back and asked for a simple refund, he then insisted we come back next week for a free meal but I don’t think we will be coming back.

I heard raving reviews (on Reddit) about this place’s teriyaki… sadly it was a bit of a disappointment. The chicken wasn’t at all moist and ate a little dry. It could have used more sauce and unlike most places, they didn’t offer extra sauce on the side. The side salad was cabbage only so a bit boring.
