Sake Sushi is a fantastic spot for fresh and delicious sushi! The food was beautifully presented, super fresh, and full of flavor. The service was also excellent—attentive, friendly, and fast. Everything we ordered was prepared perfectly, and the atmosphere was welcoming. Definitely a place I’ll be coming back to. Highly recommend!

Personally this is my favorite place to get sushi in Orange County! Amazing environment thanks to Steve and Jennie! They always make the experience fun and excited! Plus Steve always knows how to treat us to amazing new creations! While Jeannie knows how to get us to party! The creativity and quality here is almost unmatched! I cannot recommend this place enough! You have to try the spicy handrolls and you can’t go wrong with any of the rolls!

A very nice and cozy Sushi place tucked in the corner of Pavilions mall in RSM. The food is good and we found it to be a bit pricey than other sushi restaurants around in the area. We ordered a veg sushi roll and jalapeno bomb ( no tuna). The chefs were happy to make the jalapeno bomb vegetarian.

The server seemed super busy even when the restaurant was less than a quarter full. Loved the way she would leave dishes/menu/check on the table without stopping a bit (perfect vinyasa flows…haha) or smiling.

Would definitely go here again.

Tried this sushi place close to my house. We were amazed by the flavors of albacore roll and baked lobster. From now on it will be our go to sushi place

‏I arrived here for lunch on a Thursday around 1pm. I asked for a to go menu and but didn’t have any and told me to go on their site. The site was down and all I found were menu photos from customers back in April 2022. I decided to go with the 3 item lunch special with beef teriyaki, crunch roll, and sashimi combo. It also comes with rice, salad, and miso soup for $18.00. When I got rung up, it was $21 with tax, which I realized was a price increase from the April menu (okay, we’ve had record inflation the last 6 months, so it’s all good).
The food:
1. Beef teriyaki: I grew up in Seattle which has a pretty high bar for juicy and tasty teriyaki. I have yet to find anything in Cali that’s close. The sauce had a lot of potential but the beef itself was dry and tasteless.
2. Salad and miso soup: they were both pretty good.
3. Sashimi: This came with 3pc salmon and 3pc tuna. Both were pretty dry. Very disappointing since they charge an extra $2.50 for sashimi “upgrade”. I’ve had better sashimi in belt restaurants and definitely better in sit down restaurants.
4. Crunch roll: the roll itself (rice, crab meat) were fine. The crunch was stale and not crunchy. Also disappointing. Should have stuck with Cali as the crunch ruined the taste for me.

Overall, it’s a toss up between 2.5 and 3* for me. They should update the website or have to go printed menus in the meanwhile. The sushi quality is definitely lacking – not sure if it’s due to being opened to air or because it’s old, but that’s my main deterrent from coming back.

Delicious food, family friendly, and staff is amazing. They were so cheerful and kind. The vibe here is definitely cozy and familiar, don’t expect it to be too posh or fancy. Feels like you’re sitting at someone’s home table but with delicious sushi!
Loved it

Always the best time. Fresh food/fish. Service is amazing. The staff is so friendly and always willing and wanting you to have a good time. We wouldn’t go anywhere else for our sushi. Years lately we still go and love that they bring something different to the community. I hate when you go into a sushi place and they act like they don’t know you or they just want your money.. Not here. They want you to be apart of their restaurant family for a lifetime. See Jenni (server) and sit by Steve (chef) he makes the best creations just as a artist would. The music is great too.

We’ve been coming here for quite a while and the food a service is great. The problem is the music that they play, who wants a great sushi dinner while listening to rap and hip-hop music. We’ve mentioned twice but no change. We just want great food in a relaxing environment. If it continues, we’ll reluctantly have to find a new sushi restaurant.
