The service is always top-notch. My waitress was friendly, helpful, and quick, which made the meal even better. The restaurant is always clean and has such a warm, inviting vibe that makes you want to stay a little longer.
I’d definitely recommend this spot to anyone—it’s a must-try.
Something happened to this place since I went here back in maybe 2021. The ramen used to be good, but I don’t know if they changed ownership, or maybe good ingredients got too expensive. Tonkatsu ramen is completely off-base in how it’s prepared – by default it comes with fried pork cutlet rather than char siu, the broth is not creamy or porky, and it’s spicy. I don’t know what the deal here is, since I have been to dozens of different ramen places and none of them have done it quite like this. There isn’t any complexity to the broth anymore – it almost tastes like instant.
The waitress is nice, but I cannot recommend this place. Please, for the love of delicious food, either make the trek to Terakawa in Philly’s Chinatown, or find parking for Yamazaki in Bryn Mawr.
The only good thing about the ramen is the char siu is pretty okay by itself. The egg was a bit underseasoned, but I’ve had worse at ramen places with otherwise better quality ramen.
Update: the comment from the owner was correct and I was wrong when I referred to tom yom. I should have said seafood soup, which was bland and the seafood was a bit tough. As I said in my original review, given the circumstances, I’ll give it another try.
Celebrated our son’s 14th Birthday who wanted Sushi. We are so happy they were open in the middle of a snow storm.
The service is impeccable and the food divine. The food portion is right size for the money. Spot-on the price you pay. Everything dish was good flavor, fresh and savory.
The restaurant ambience is more Asian and Chinese influence. Nothing fancy but clean and well-lit.
Coco the server and owner was so hospitable.
Definitely will come again.
This is now our go-to Sushi place.
Thank you again Coco.
The food/sushi was superb! Very fresh and you can tell it was prepared with a desire towards perfection. Phenomenal in my opinion. I will post mostly food pics here and in the comments some of the others for you to see.
I am going to head back and my 1+ mile walk will be completed in time to rest up for my walk to Shul this afternoon/evening.
Gut Yunfiff again and LIVE LOVE LAUGH & THRIVE.

The food was amazing enough but the hospitality is why I am leaving this review. The staff was incredible and made me feel so welcomed. While it’s not centrally located in historic area of town I highly recommend anyone to eat here. I was only biking through town but I hope to come back again.
