You know what, I “should have” written this during my first visit – I technically came here three times in the course of a week but only dined twice – but I ate so fast the first time, I didn’t have a chance to capture the food. So here I am, making up for it and giving this place its rightful props.

The food was good, everyone in our party enjoyed their meal, I would recommend you go early or make a reservation as there is a wait list if you go after 8pm.

I had the hand roll special came with 1 ca / 1 salmon / one shrimp tempura / spicy tuna. Side of salad and miso soup. The rice is well seasoned and the rolls are just well made. Cant wait to come back and try the rest of the menu. My host sayaka and vicky definitely set the mood with their smiles and vibrant vibes. If you are around the area stop on by they will welcome you gracefully.

I have a soft spot for classic Japanese restaurants that have Yakitori as they remind me of a childhood restaurant. Sake House Miro was a recommendation from good friends who moved to LA so naturally we came to try it!

Went looking for sushi at 11pm on a thursday night. Found this very small place. Sashimi quality was good. The yellowtail sashimi portion was a decent size serving. Too many places slice everything super thin nowadays to save $. Enjoyed the Agedashi Tofu. The beef skewer was too tough to eat. The only let down. But i will return.

We loved this place. Everything about it was an amazing experience. The staff was very entertaining, the food was incredible, their sake varieties were amazing and just the entire atmosphere made us feel like home. If you have been to Japan you have to come here. It is an authentic restaurant that will definitely feel your belly and make you want to come back.

Sushi is just ok. The menu is misleading for some sushi rolls. I ordered a truffle infused roll but there was no truffle smell or taste at all. I asked a server and she said they use truffle salt but I guess it’s a very low quality one because there was nothing smell or taste wise in it. Overall I would not come back here. Service was good but the food was not so much.

Found the awesome restaurant last week while out walking. If you like fish, this is the best grilled mackerel you’ll have. Also, try the Bul Ko Ki w/ rice and the dynamite roll is spectacular !

By far the worst ramen I’ve ever had. Spent a long day at The Grove and was looking forward to eat ramen and found this place since it had a good rating on google maps. Ordered the premium and spicy tonkotsu ramen and they were both very disappointing. The blandness of the food still didn’t go past my hunger. It was overflowing with soup, very tasteless and the spicy ramen was not spicy at all. Tasted the same as the regular one. I would’ve expected better or somewhat decent for an almost $20 ramen! I don’t know about the other food they serve but definitely not the place to go for a ramen. Will definitely avoid this place from now on when I am in LA looking for ramen.

This place IS fun for drinks and perhaps after you’re drunk enough the food becomes edible. Do not come here for lunch or dinner expecting a tasty meal. Everything we ordered except the meatballs was mediocre at best. Would definitely chose another Izakaya in the future.
