I had the deep fried crab which was not worth taking a picture. The two sushi rolls were good, but it’s nothing that I just have to have again. The service was very friendly fast and efficient. It would be a good date night spot because they have a vast variety of sushi, a lot of which I have never heard of before.

If I could give this place zero stars I would! The service was terrible. My boyfriend and I ordered two items, a Teppanyaki dish for him and I ordered a California roll. Four tables came in after us, and I watched them receive all of their food before we got any of ours. And they had ordered way more than we did! One was a party of 8. I finally had to get up and ask the waiter when our food would come out, and he told me that the Teppanyaki dish was ready already, but my roll was not. So we asked him to at least bring out the Teppanyaki dish so my boyfriend could start eating before the food got cold, and I could pick at his plate while I waited for my roll. Two additional tables were seated and served and I still hadn’t got my roll, and a California roll is the easiest roll to make! My boyfriend finished his meal, so I told the waiter to take my roll off of our tab. The waiter was not apologetic at all. And when I went to the front to pay for the Teppanyaki dish, I tried to tell another staff member of the issue and poor service I received and he interrupted to tell me “I already took it off. You’re not paying for the roll.” The proceeds to tell me they had large parties come in and I told him they came in way after us. He didn’t care. I highly DO NOT recommend and I will be posting a TikTok video of my poor experience here as well.

Sake House is a good spot for delicious food. The atmosphere was very nice and comfortable. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We ordered lunch soecial chicken, steak hibachi that tasty and reasonably priced.

The sushi at Sake House is incredible! The presentation is beautiful and adds to the entire experience. We tried the Angry Dragon Roll, Times Square Roll, and Spicy Tuna Roll and all of them exceeded expectations. The fish is fresh and assembled right in front of you. Will definitely be coming back!

TLDR – Great portion size, friendly service. However entree painfully under seasoned plus the katsu sauce had a tang in a bad way that made it borderline unusable to me.
Ultimately got something else, sorry.
Was in town and considered between this place and a few others to try. Got their Time Square Roll that I enjoyed (wish I would have got purely rolls in retrospect). That alone deserved a 4/5, though i wasn’t a fan of the excess flakes on top but that’s incredibly negligible.
I also got a Chicken Katsu plate which was the main disappointment. The chicken was bland itself and the coating too. It hardly had a crunch, panko was more soft flake then anything (I traveled less then 5 minutes with it). The sauce to go with it was then on the complete opposite side i.e overly concentrated flavor with some sort of tang (maybe ginger?) I couldn’t really find myself enjoying. Either way wasn’t good to even think of pouring over top nor dipping the cutlet too much in. Not even to try and balance them to a neutral state. The fried rice and vegetables were honestly the best part of the plate and they were simply just run-of-the-mill fried rice and veg.
Not bad at all on price in respect to what you are served overall issue is seasoning for me and that’s not really fixable while travelling so I just had to take that loss and grab something else to eat for the evening.
