The food was delicious. The yum yum sauce was delicious. Service was great. The staff greeted me and and the order was ready on time. The atmosphere was quiet and nice for dining in. Must try if you are in Gaston county, NC.

I think a guy named Alex took my order he was pleasant and courteous. The food is tasty here but I really wouldn’t wanna eat in this establishment. It was pretty clean, but it needs lots of updating inside and out. Parking is awkward, but it is free and you can get in the parking ️ lot. I asked for paper menu. They said they didn’t have one because the prices wasn’t updated yet so in the pictures, you will see the updated prices. I don’t really suggest this restaurant. It’s not that bad. The atmosphere is just not for me. An order to go, would probably be your best bet. My total order was about seven dollars and I gave a three dollar tip and my order was to go.

I’ve been coming here for awhile and decided it was about time I write a review.
Food: I almost always get their Teriyaki Steak and Chicken and I love it every time. If were feeling really hungry, my girlfriend and I will get the Low Carb Teriyaki Steak and Chicken, and order carrots and rice on the side. It’s essentially a secret menu hack to get extra vegetables with your dish, and it makes it so much better.
Value: While I do appreciate that this location is cheaper than the others, I do think they’re still a little high. Not terrible, but not great either.
Service: Service can vary depending on their staffing and time of day, but they always seem to be trying their best, which is enough for me.
Atmosphere: This is definitely the biggest shortcoming. The building is open, dated, and a bit ragged out. Not the worst I have seen but I would highly recommend closing and doing some sort of renovation to clean it up a bit. The parking lot could also use a repaving. I know it’s expensive, but it would class the place up so much.
Another Simple Recommendation: Advertise your teriyaki sauce alongside the hibachi! Not many people know they can get teriyaki instead of hibachi and a lot of people would probably love it. It’s a slightly sweeter taste and I think it would be very popular. Of my friends that know the teriyaki exists, they all seem to prefer it over hibachi.
Summary: Overall not a bad joint, just needs a little TLC. They’ve got a decent thing going though.

The Ole original Sake in mount Holly, North Carolina is by far the BEST in my opinion! Staff is awesome and very friendly! The food seems to get better everytime I go there!! Love some SAKE. YUMMY!!

Excellent food. Smallish dine in area available, but we did take out. Had hibachi steak and chicken and hibachi steak and shrimp. Both meals are enough for our lunch and dinner!! Veggie egg rolls were crispy and light. Even carrots were good and we’re not usually fans of carrots. Our new favorite restaurant photo is of hibachi steak and chicken and mushrooms.

I normally order from here about once every other month. Not sure what happened but there was hair in my food and it made us sick. The food is normally what you’d expect from fast food hibachi, but this will be my last visit.
