Service was okay but nothing special — not bad, just average. With a bit more attention and consistency in service, this place could easily be a 5-star spot. Overall, a good experience and worth visiting.
We ordered the Love Boat, Beauty & the Beast Roll, and of course my personal fave, the Philly Roll — everything was insanely fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. You can taste the quality in every bite.
The portions were great, the flavors were on point, and the service was so friendly. Honestly, this is the kind of place you end up coming back to over and over again.
We’re already planning our next visit so we can try more from their menu, if you’re in the area, definitely stop by.
This spot is an All You Can Eat (AYCE) sushi restaurant, and it totally lives up to the hype:
• Generous portions: the fish slices are so thick they literally cover the rice.
• Great value: fresh quality with big cuts, but still very affordable compared to many other places in SoCal.
• Wide selection: classic sashimi, nigiri, creative rolls, plus miso soup and salad — all well-prepared.
• Fast service: food comes out quickly, which is great for group dining.
• Casual vibes: warm wooden interior, works for both friends’ gatherings and date nights.
✨ Must-try dishes:
• Sashimi platter: super fresh and thick cuts — very satisfying.
• Sushi platter: variety of fish in one go, generous portions.
• Specialty rolls: creative and flavorful.
• Seared salmon: with a touch of lemon, perfectly balances out the richness.
Overall: This place is basically a “sushi heaven” for anyone who loves AYCE. Fresh fish, tons of choices, great value — no wonder it’s such a popular spot in Tustin. Pair it with a beach sunset afterward, and you’ve got yourself the perfect SoCal day.
We got an order of mixed tempura. It was nice and crispy on the outside. So flavorful and delicious.
We got an order of salmon collar. I love that you get two pieces instead of one piece at most restaurants. The salmon was moist and delicious.
We also ordered a green goblin roll and a red goblin roll. Nigiri and rolls are always 50% off here.
The green goblin has spicy crabmeat and cucumber on the inside and avocado and cilantro on the outside. It was delicious and very refreshing. The red goblin has spicy tuna on the inside and albacore, bbq sauce, crunchy garlic and red onion on the outside. The combination of flavors works so well together.
We also ordered a Love Boat. It had nigiri, sashimi and a rainbow roll and an onion blossom albacore roll. It was so fresh and delicious.
A wonderful meal with great food and friendly service.
Highlights include the fresh Omakase sushi, especially the scallop and salmon belly, and the unique Albacore Onion Chips. The baked Dynamite Roll was superb, and the yellowtail collar was a must-order grilled dish.
Must-orders are the premium Omakase combo, the flavorful Dynamite bake roll, and the perfectly grilled yellowtail collar. The takoyaki and albacore sushi were also excellent starters.
But probably the best thing of all is they have specials that were so much affordable than other places. If we had eaten at another restaurant of comparable quality, the food would easily been 2 to 3 times more in price. It’s no wonder this restaurant is crowded and there’s normally a wait to get in. But if you look at the line of people waiting, that’s just a testament to what good food, fresh food, and value this place offers.
If you just look at the photos of their rolls, which are extremely creative and tasty, that says it all. I did notice that this place tends to attract a younger crowd of patron, but they were families groups of friends couples all enjoying the food.
You gotta check out the photos and check this place out. I know you’ll be impressed just like I was. Judging by how crowded the places there are a lot of impressed customers there. And we all think it’s worth the weight.
The vibe is a bit dim, perfect for a casual drink and chat, and the sushi chefs at the bar were focused and professional.
Highlights:
• Salmon Sashimi – fresh with pretty plating.
• Rolls – larger than usual, generously filled.
• Beef Udon – rich broth, tender meat, kid-approved.
• Avocado Salad – light and refreshing.
• Grilled Salmon Collar – crispy outside, tender inside, great with rice.
✨ Many items are half off, and four of us ate well for about $100 – good value for the quality and portions.
Overall: cozy atmosphere, nice presentation, fair portions. A good spot for family dining and photos.
