I’ve been to Sakana Sushi three times now, mostly for their noodles, and every single visit has been amazing. The food is consistently delicious, fresh, and comforting, but what really keeps us coming back is the service.
Our server, Sammy, always goes above and beyond to make sure we have a great experience. He’s attentive, kind, and genuinely cares about his customers. On one occasion, he added a special personal detail for us that completely surprised my husband, it actually brought tears of joy to his eyes. That level of thoughtfulness is something you don’t find everywhere.

Gorgeous inside, the decor was spectacular.
I could not take my eyes off the ribbons and the cherry blossoms everywhere.
We sat in a booth, very comfy.
Our waitress was so nice, she took our 8rders for beverages and appetizers then our main courses. My grandsons birthday was today, our waitress made a birthday plate with mochi and whipped cream.
I had the noodles, the bowl is huge and enough for 2.
I love this place, new location at Brooks City Base, we will be back.
Thank you for a great experience

This was my first visit, and I had an excellent experience. The food was outstanding, the service was attentive, and the restaurant was clean and well maintained. I highly recommend the Godzilla roll—it was my favorite dish.

This Sushi restaurant is great!
Let’s start with parking: there is plenty!
The decor is lovely, very Japanese, cherry blossoms, Japanese art, ceiling is nicely decorated.
The sushi bar is in the middle of the restaurant and you can see the sushi chefs working their magic.
The service is very fast, and prices are good.
They have a wide variety of food options, from sushi and ramen to udon and hibachi, their menu is very extensive, you will find something to eat here.
We ordered: Crab Rangoons , edamame , sushi and Hibachi .
They also sell cocktails if you feel like having a drink.
It is located in the south of the city, since I live north, I had to drive 30 min to get here, but it was absolutely worth it

It was a pretty quick service , friendly waiter was attentive. Nice looking restaurant with beautiful atmosphere. If that was all I was rating it on , I would leave it at that. Now , onto the food. We had the takoyaki balls, the shrimp udon and the house special rice. Overall , the food lacked seasoning . For what we paid for , I would expect a bit more of a flavorful kick from the food. Overall the udon lacked seasoning and so did the rice. The takoyaki I cannot judge too harshly as it was my first time having it and can’t really know what expectations to place on it. 7.50 though for wet balls of octopus is a little high and was a little disappointed with it. Overall I would give a 4 if the food had been a bit more seasoned. Decent portions but for almost $47 on my 2 meals , I could’ve eaten at another restaurant with better tasting food twice.

First time eating at this restaurant when walking in we we’re greeted and seated the menu has a good selection we started with the cheese crab wonton and fried calamari both were made to perfection and flavors were on point second order sushi the freshest sushi I have tried packaged with fresh vegetables flavors for are mane dish I had the combination fried rice with beef, chicken and shrimp the flavors were also amazing each bite was a fresh bite the only thing was they didn’t put enough shrimp. My wife had the beef chow mein noodles I tried them but I was not a fan of it was good but the flavor didn’t mix when I was eating the rice.. would recommend this place for athletic flavors and service..

I ordered to go and I could tell the food was freshly made. The craftsmanship that went into their special rolls and qaulity of ingredients made for a great meal. If you want sushi for dine in or take out, I suggest eating here.

Went for lunch food was excellent, prompt and staff was amazing. Very clean. 9.5/10
The biggest flourish is the decor and atmosphere. For being a smaller floor plan they really utilize every inch. Beautiful open kitchen plan, with quaint sushi bar.

Im so happy to have this place on the south side. Went there for my birthday and as a surprise I got green tea mochi as a desert. Staff is polite and the food was delicious. The sushi was amazing so fresh and no greasy taste. The tempura cheesecake is very addicting. I have a shellfish allergy so when we ordered the crab ragoons I worried it was real crab. But it was the imitation which I know some would rather it be real but for me and my allergy I was really happy. The atmosphere was relaxing, I loved the decor and they had the TV screens in the middle playing the sports games.
