Enjoyed their cucumber avocado and avocado peanut rolls and vegetable udon noodles dish. They were able to accommodate a vegan diet. We will be back!

We make a reservation for 6:30 p.m. for 8 ppl. When I arrived, there were a large crowd waiting for takeout. When I reach the receptionist, it’s 6:40pm. And I was greeted with “I thought you are not coming, I am going to give your table to another party, we are very busy tonight. Are your party or here yet?”. Really? No call to confirm that we are not coming? That sets me in the wrong mood. The food is pretty standard for a Japanese restaurant fare opened by mandarin speaking folks. I cannot believe people pay that much for a hibachi that is not served right in front of you, so we did not order that. I have to mention that the sushi roll is not impressive, they are loose when I pick them up, I guess the sushi chef was tired. I still give a 18% for the tips since our server was nice.

Best sushi restaurant in a 30 mile area! Super fresh fish. Wide variety of Japanese cuisine, sushi, sashimi, tempura and hibachi. Good drink from a well stocked bar. Staff is friendly and attentive. One of our favorite places.

The chicken teriyaki entree was wonderful! I had the place to myself for a while and the server was very attentive. Miso soup, salad, white rice, two chicken cutlets on a bed of grilled red onions in a wonderful sauce (hibachi), and a side of steamed vegetables – baby corn, carrots, and broccoli. Green tea was smooth and needed no sweetener. $25.50 total and I got two meals out of it.

Met my friend for dinner here on a whim. I drove by it a few times on my way to Wolfeboro. The bar is very small and next to a fish tank that is too small for the huge fish swimming in it. I found this very distracting and sad. We started with gyoza (pork dumplings). They were not very hot and just ok. Then we got 3 of the Chefs Specialty sushi rolls to split, and I just didn’t care for any of them. They were all a bit fishy to me, but my friend enjoyed them.

We accidentally discovered this place when another resteraunt in the area was packed. It was a wonderful surprise. The staff were very friendly, food was quick to arrive and the food was tasty and beautifully plated. We will definitely be back.

Best Sushi and Sashimi in New Hampshire. The service is quick, attentive and they are very nice! Everything on their menu is great. The house dressing they use on their green salad is spectacular. They have a great lunch menu as well. Cold beer, fresh fish, great service. Saka is the place to be!

Every single thing from the menu that we have tried was absolutely amazing. Starting from the cocktails, which they have a lovely variety of, to the appetizers, rolls and mochi. Really delicious food, full of flavor, incredible staff and place. Highly recommended.
