Sushi was very good. Full of flavor! Service was great very quick, very polite!!!
*Most sushi places make me run to the restroom after eating and this one did not.
The food is solid, the service is fast and friendly, and the price is what you’d expect for sushi in Hoboken.
The volcano roll is a must.
Delivery is very fast and there aren’t additional fees for no reason.
Last time we ordered here they forgot our crab rangoon. No biggie, it happens.
They wouldn’t give me a refund because it was an online order which is weird so watch out for that.
Instead they cooked up a fresh order and sent the delivery guy back with a free order of calamari which was really nice and unexpected.
Mistakes happen and credit to them for correcting the mistake and going to extra mile to make sure they don’t lose a customer.
Would 100% eat here again.
I am really not trying to be a jerk, but I work for a Japanese company and eat lots of Japanese food and easily noticed. Not saying it was bad, but just different and less traditional regarding the recipes/ingredients/flavors you would expect in comparison to other Japanese restaurants that are Japanese owned and operated. I confirmed my palate’s suspicions when I noticed the sushi chef’s weren’t speaking Japanese to each other.
Again… I want to stress the food was good, service was good and the restaurant was emaculate.
BYOB – stop at Delite Liquor Store just 2 blocks down and pick up a nice bottle of sake.
