I went to Saito’s last week and had the most amazing experience! From the moment we walked in, the staff was impeccable… so friendly and attentive.

The ambiance is beautiful!!!! It truly makes the place… They even have a little decorative river with fish, which is super cute to look at and adds such a nice touch to the atmosphere.

The sushi was good, but the hibachi was AMAZING. The food was incredibly flavorful, and the show was so much fun to watch. It’s definitely a perfect spot for birthdays or large parties because the experience itself makes it feel special. Iordered the steak and chicken, and my friend got the filet mignon. The portions were HUGE (included a shrimp appetizer, rice, veggies and the protein of choice). I had enough to take home and easily turn it into a second meal. You definitely get your money’s worth. Ik they include an 18% gratuity, and while some people might find that annoying, it is absolutely worth it. The chef was incredibly deserving of it and the performance was super interactive, he was joking around and even playfully picking on me during the show, which made the experience memorable. I’ll be back!!!

I recently visited this establishment for a surprise retirement party. The aesthetics are great and the front hostess inviting. The restaurant spacious and the design and decorative atmosphere is beautiful. However, I was not impressed with the food. Where I live we have a Habachi style restaurant and sadly this restaurant does not compare. It doesn’t even come close. The food although very decent sized portions was extremely bland. I am used to having garlic butter instead of just regular butter if that was in fact what it was. I say that because it was so oddly yellow in color. The lack of seasoning took away from the flavor and food. If this was worked on it would great. The next area needing improvement was the service or lack there of from our waitress. She barely came to check on our group to see if we needed anything and when she did she returned without what was requested. Angela was however attentive and concerned with how we were going to pay and whether we would or could combine our checks. Despite the number of guests gratuity should be based on the service received. When it is guaranteed is often time customer service falls short. Although the food and customer service was not the best the occasion was. We were able to honor our coworker and celebrate his new journey into retirement.

I was a hostess for Saitos Coconut Creek about 15-16 years ago when it first opened. I’ve been to several of their locations and each one is great! First time at the Dania one…the interior design is stunning! Koi fish in the water, beautiful Christmas tree present, and the food and service is consistently great.

I recently visited Saito’s Japanese Steakhouse at Dania Pointe and had a really enjoyable experience. The restaurant has a lively atmosphere and is a great place to go if you’re looking for a fun dinner with friends or family. The hibachi tables make the meal more interactive, and the chef kept everyone entertained with the classic tricks and cooking show while preparing the food right in front of us.

The portions were generous and everything came out fresh and hot. The steak and shrimp hibachi were cooked well and the vegetables and fried rice had great flavor. I also tried a couple of sushi rolls which were nicely presented and tasted fresh. It’s nice that they offer both hibachi and sushi options depending on what you’re in the mood for.

Service was friendly and attentive throughout the meal. Our server checked in regularly and made sure drinks were refilled and that we had everything we needed. Even though the restaurant was fairly busy, the staff handled things well and kept the experience moving smoothly.

Overall, Saito’s is a solid spot if you want good hibachi, a fun dining experience, and a place where groups can enjoy a night out together. I would definitely consider coming back when I’m in the Dania Beach area.

After 47 years of dining out and enjoying hibachi restaurants across the country, this experience truly stood out as one of the most memorable I’ve ever had. From the moment I walked in, I was warmly welcomed by **Alan Lee, the owner’s son**, who immediately made me feel like more than just another customer. His hospitality set the tone for the entire evening. The food was phenomenal—the steak was perfectly cooked, the shrimp were fresh and flavorful, and the fried rice had that classic hibachi taste that keeps you going back for another bite. The chef’s performance at the grill was entertaining and impressive, and the whole atmosphere was lively and welcoming. Between the outstanding food and Alan’s genuine hospitality, it was the kind of dinner that reminds you why hibachi dining is such a special experience. I’ll definitely be coming back.

This restaurant was a disgrace and low budget. Not low budget in price but in food! Grilled food is boiled unless you’re at a hibachi table and the bar tender scams guest on drinks. I asked for Churassco steak and received what appeared to look like stir fry. I asked for the manager Robert, and his response was “Churassco steak comes in 3 different meats”!!! I will NEVERRRRR EAT HERE AGAIN! Poor quality food very disturbing as a foodie. Here’s a photo of my Churassco steak.

The decoration looks Japanese style, and there are carp swimming in the small river in the dining area. The prices of the dishes are a bit high, and the teppanyaki chef sometimes doesn’t show much. They just want to finish your order quickly. Nor can I be funny, naughty or do acrobatics I noticed that the bill already included an 18% tip. Why is there a second option to choose tip? I’m a bit confused. This will mislead customers who don’t read the bill carefully. I personally feel that the amount of food in the set meal is relatively small

We came to Saito’s Japanese Steakhouse in Dania Beach this Sunday with my family, and we had the absolute pleasure of having Billy as our hibachi chef! He was amazing — so friendly, fun, and full of great energy. From the moment he started cooking, he made us laugh, kept everyone entertained, and created such a happy, welcoming atmosphere. It truly made our family night special.

The food was delicious, perfectly cooked, and full of flavor. Billy went above and beyond to make sure everyone at the table was having a great time. We left with full stomachs and big smiles! Definitely recommending this place to anyone looking for great food and even better vibes.

Be aware of the rip-off and poor service.

We were charged $20 extra per person for sharing a hibachi dish—something that was never clearly explained when ordering and is only mentioned in very small print on the menu.

We were dining with our three kids (there is no kids’ menu), ordered plenty of food and drinks, yet were still hit with an unexpected $40 extra charge. When we questioned it, the waiter became rude and the manager’s behavior was even worse and completely disrespectful. The situation escalated to the point where my wife left in tears.

We believe in supporting businesses, but respect and transparency are non-negotiable. We never returned and wouldn’t recommend this place to families.

We went to Saito’s Japanese Steakhouse for a hibachi dinner to celebrate my daughter’s birthday. The food was delicious, and the service was great—our waiter was super friendly and kept everything moving quickly.

The hibachi chef was skilled and polite, but he was very serious and didn’t bring the usual energy or fun tricks that make hibachi such an interactive experience. It wasn’t a bad experience, but we were hoping for a little more excitement.

Pricing was average for hibachi except for the additional $4 up charge per person for fried rice, which is crazy.

Overall, the food and service were excellent, but if you’re looking for an entertaining hibachi chef, it might depend on who you get that night.
