2 Stars Because it Didn’t Make Me Sick
Starting off with the most important thing. You do not get your money’s worth. The pictures on their website is decentful. The rice to fish ratio is way too much; with rice being the main dish and slivers of fish like some kind of garnish.
The soup is like spiced water and a bunch of incohesive ingredients.
The inside of the restaurant is nice and cozy. And the fish tastes a little better than Walmart sushi. If you are inexperienced with sushi and scared to start this could be the right pick. Just know it will be an expensive one.
But I couldn’t end this off without adding that the animal neglect is an issue too. Too many large fish for that tank size. No substrate, nothing.

The food was excellent, the service was fast and friendly, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. For the amount of food, the price was very reasonable. All three of us left stuffed, having tried some foods that were new to us. Will definitely be going back!

We had a bit of a hit-or-miss experience here. On the positive side, our server was absolutely fantastic—attentive and helpful throughout the night. The ambiance is also lovely, making for a nice atmosphere.
The food, however, was inconsistent. My mom and I shared the Yellow Curry with veggies and shrimp, and it was fantastic—perfectly spiced and generous portions. Unfortunately, the rest of the table didn’t fare as well. The kids’ teriyaki chicken and my dad’s teriyaki steak both arrived room temperature and lacked flavor. My “spicy” tuna roll ($10) was very plain, with no veggies or sauce, and wasn’t spicy at all.
Overall, it feels overpriced for the quality. With kids’ meals at $11 and chef’s rolls around $19, it’s not an affordable meal for what you get. Our bill for 4 adults and 2 kids was over $100 (without alcohol). We loved the curry, but the rest of the menu needs work for those prices.

Food is so delicious! I’ve only done carry out so far, but the staff is super nice when I pick up. I will definitely be back! Love having this option in Van Wert. Thank you Saisaki!

I gave 5 stars even though there was a few problems but its super new and I will definitely be back to see improvements and edit this. They didn’t see us waiting due to the wall upfront so it took a while to be seated. The waitress was great just inexperienced she kept forgetting things. The volume of the music kept changing. Sometimes it was loud other time it was quiet. The edamame needed more salt. The pineapple fried rice needed more flavor it was quite dull and fell flat. The Pepsi was watered down. The chef combo sushi regular was good, the salmon had a odd taste and the wasabi wasn’t hot at all. Even though I had a few complaints it was still good and the place looks amazing.

THE BEST restaurant I’ve been to in a long time! FRESH, which is unusual anymore. Food was amazing, staff were great, knowledgeable, and made wonderful recommendations. We are cooks and I know good, fresh, experienced cooking when I taste it. The atmosphere was wonderful as was the decor. Portions were generous. We will be back soon!
