Stopped in for brunch and it was everything a brunch should be: quaint, fun, a little fancy, and delicious. I made reservations but I don’t think it was completely necessary as their were plenty seats available (it’s enormous!). The restaurant itself is beautiful so they have the atmosphere nailed. Service was prompt, friendly, and on point. The menu is quite diverse in its offerings so there should be something for everyone and despite it being a nice restaurant in a affluent part of town, their prices aren’t egregious: figure about $25+ tax tip without a cocktail. And about the cocktails…the one’s we tried were delicious. Splurge a little and try one. I ordered the avocado toast which was delicious and FILLING. Their is plenty of outdoor seating so I can only imagine what this place would be like in the summer! I will definitely be finding that out!

Never been here before ( picked it based on reviews, and location). Met up with some friends for a get together.
We got a very nice booth in a quiet area if the restaurant, which made it easy to talk
Service excellent, very efficient and personable staff.
Food was delicious.
The hummus appetizer was superb.
The burger, lasagne were exceptional.
There is valet parking, but you do get 2 hours validation for the multi story car park nearby.

5/5 all around! The service is GREAT. Between the host, the waitress, servers, and busboys, everyone was exceptionally kind. I brought my mom yesterday for a Valentine’s brunch and we loved the entire experience. We were so lucky to have Hannah as our waitress. She was so bubbly, attentive, and made great recommendations. She knew so much about the menu and she was actually happy to share some background on the items as well as the restaurant itself (things being made in house as well as using locally sourced items etc). Even if the food was horrible, I’d give the place a 5/5 because of Hannah! HOWEVER – the food was SO YUMMY! I’m a breakfast girl, but this place is so different than other spots. We tried the avocado toast scramble – YUM. Each of the ingredients on their own were so tasty and flavorful. Bringing it all together made it that much better. Kudos to the Chef and their team. My mom ordered the chicken sandwich and loved it. There was nothing boring about this experience. For dessert we had the cheesecake. I’m not a huge fan of figs, but I can appreciate how they brought this plate together. My mom loved it all and please note: she is SUPER picky. This restaurant is a must try and a lovely addition to the village. Cute vibes, and CLEAN. Fair prices, great quality and portions. Can’t wait to check out the dinner menu!

This restaurant had the best service we have ever had and we eat out all the time and have eaten at the best restaurants in San Diego but their service is off the charts!!! It started with the manager coming over to our table immediately followed up by waiters just walking by to make sure we’re being taken care of that we’re not our Waiters we could not believe it. We had Soliste L’Age D’or Russian River Valley Chardonnay that was exquisite. We started with a wedge salad that was better than any restaurant we’ve ever had it in and it was so large that it was plenty for two people it had buttermilk dressing crumpled eggs bacon grastique Dill chives tomatoes and blue cheese it’s a must-have. Are appetizers were Parker House rolls that were Exquisite and butternut squash hummus absolutely amazing. Our dinners were lasagna with meatballs and I had smoked and glazed pork chop with shaved brussel sprouts aged cheddar grits candied pecans and avocado honey. This was our first time coming and we will definitely be back because of the food and the service

I had dinner there last night… I just had to come leave a review.. Oh my goodness, the hummus with pomegranates served with flat bread was off the chain!! Tasted orgasmic.. My main was braised short ribs with mash, turnips, carrots. It was literally so good I kept giving compliments as I ate. Isaiah who waited on us was quite helpful. They were out of sweet white wine but I was offered something like a white sangria and it was refreshing..
5 star food!!
Great service and the ambience was lovely too..
Kudos

Excited for our next meal.
Good quality was delicious: high food ROI
Parking, easy
Mimosa Tray was a great deal for 4 ppl, we got 6 pours and the juice is unlimited. They even brought a kumquat juice!

French toast for the table .. Good call. Delicious, and HUGE slices, would be challenging for me to finish.

Top notch service. Great vibes.

We had a great experience at Saint & Second! The food was delicious — the French toast with berries and cream was beautifully done, the avocado toast was fresh and flavorful, and the eggs Benedict with potatoes was excellent. The presentation was also really nice, and everything tasted high quality.

The only downside was the wait time — service was a little slower than expected, which took away from the overall experience. Otherwise, the atmosphere was welcoming and the food made it worth it.

I had such an incredible brunch experience today. Everything from the service and decor to the food itself completely blew me away. Hanna was our server and she was great 🙂 The GM Alex stopped by to check on us and was so kind and personable. He made us feel completely at home. Chef Enrique also came by to chat, he was so friendly. You can really tell he puts his heart into every dish. I can’t believe I haven’t been here sooner.
Our favorites were the mezze plate, tri tip hash, and Asian chopped salad, and each one was phenomenal. Wow. Huge thank you to everyone for creating such a memorable experience. This restaurant truly cares about its guests, its food, and its team, and it shows in every detail. Absolutely worth visiting!

Really fresh and delicious oysters
Also, even though it wasn’t on the menu, they kindly made a beef tartare just for me — and it was very good.
Great service and quality food!

Their take on th Parker house rolls is to be tried, probable the best thing on the menu. Service was mostly attentive and timely, until you looked around and realized how few patrons were there.
Atmosphere is “why do I need a flashlight to see across the table?”
The food was, disappointing. Shrimp cocktail was a mealy, odd texture, pork belly had a tasty sauce but the meat itself tasted of reheating, halibut was well cooked but was oversalted which balanced the bland mash? Broccolini was undercooked and just didn’t belong on that plate. Burger was OK, very greasy, didn’t have condiments??
Fish and chip was ok fish fry was tasty, fries were meh. Basque cheesecake tasted good but over baked so very dry and crumbly texture
At that price point I expected SO much more. It was passable, some even good but not at that price.
