Yesterday was my second time my partner and I have gone to Saint John’s in the past couple of weeks! The owner, Mikey is super cool, welcoming and friendly! The drinks are fairly priced and the burger is the best burger I’ve had in the Seattle area. Trust me I’ve had a lot of burgers. This one was perfectly cooked and it was all around a great experience. We will be back shortly!!!

This place was fantastic. Cozy atmosphere with friendly service. We got their patty melt and a blackened chicken sandwich. Both were delicious. The chicken sandwich had such a great flavor combo. The buns were also delicious. They also had gluten free buns if you are GF and gluten free fish and chips (and more) in addition to vegetarian options. The fries were different and so tasty. We started with stuffed dates which are always my favorite. Will definitely be back here.

Saint John’s is my absolute favorite neighborhood bar. Not only do the staff care deeply about their community, but the atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and silly in the best possible way. Every time I’m nearby, I can’t resist getting the tuna melt (with house-made pickled onions and potato chips?! incredible) and their side salad with an amazing house-made dressing. Saint John’s is a must-stop for anyone who loves and off the charts and still affordable meal (increasingly rare!).

Never have a had a better tuna sandwich. It simply does not exist. Saint John’s is amazing and such a vibe on the weekend. Bartenders are all amazing and adorable. Don’t miss their karaoke night! And seriously get a tuna sandwich. You will not regret it.

We popped in for a drink and vibe while in the neighborhood and loved the dinosaur decoration, great energy and some of the nicest, kindest energy from Mikey at the bar. We were visiting in town and he had great recommendations. If we were local, we’d be eternal regulars. The menu had great food and the drinks were delicious and reasonably priced. It’s a perfect bar to go hang out in the Capitol Hill neighborhood and we’ll be back next time we’re in Seattle

Do not go to this place! Went there didn’t know they’re having an event that Sunday @7pm “Trivia” nothing post on the main door! Yes I do read fine prints!!
While we are eating and drinking in the middle of it, one customer is in line around 6:15 pm that we have to leave because they’re having trivia and they need to use our table I was able what? Another customer did the same thing. Then the “organizer “ came she literally kept telling us reminding us we’re in the middle of eating as if we’re not a paying customer that we have to leave before 7Pm , came 3x because they have a trivia game! And mind you it’s only 6:20PM! Going forward to the management of this bar: If you have an event do not accept or let any customers in by 6PM & let them rush to eat, and your staff have a balls in telling us unless you want to order more food you’re allowed to stay
1. We are not done eating
2. We are still drinking
3. We go to the bar , unwind, savor and enjoy the food. Unless you consider your bar as “fast food”. It seems your priority is not your customer. There are a lot of customers that are not in the trivia that I know that because, I’ve asked and they didn’t even order drinks, they’re chatting! So mind you!

I have always loved St. Johns for years and find nothing more comforting than having a tuna melt and sitting on their back patio under a heat lamp. I branched out and tried their wings and feel like I should have tried more of their menu before! Their ginger wings are so bomb, had to come back again a couple days later.
As usual their staff was extremely friendly, their interior is inviting and the patio is just fun.
I would highly recommend anyone visiting the hill to check St.Johns out.

absolutely love this place! Saint John’s is so precious, has great food and drinks, arguably the best fries, and pretty incredible burgers too. a year ago my husband and I went here after our elopement to celebrate, and more recently this year I went here for an afterparty after a concert. it’s always a great time, and I look forward to coming back to see what they have streaming on the tv. the interior is filled with dinos and fun art (won’t spoil it for you, go see it for yourself) – it’s a delight! I always take people here and highly recommend it to anyone visiting!
Saint John’s, you’re my number one.

Great little bar and grill. The food far exceeded my expectations! The menu was nicely varied. The beer selection was somewhat limited, but adequate. My only complaint is that they don’t have true table service; you place your order at the bar and they will bring it to your table when it’s ready. We really enjoyed the back ‘patio’. It’s technically outside but it’s covered. Nice area if you want to escape the loudness of the bar scene – you can actually have a conversation back there.
Definitely will return!

I was genuinely surprised at just how good the food was at Saint John’s: the nachos, brussel sprouts (no for real — trust me they were phenomenal), and sweet ginger wings were all particularly delicious! Drinks were also really good, and the atmosphere was very welcoming and fun. The staff was super attentive and nice, and the bathrooms were clean — overall a great night out and I definitely recommend eating here! There’s a patio out back which I’m sure is lovely when the weather’s nice, so also check that out when you come!
