Travel for this pizza!! It’s worth the hype!!
I was sooo happy to wait for this pizza on a busy Friday night. We got the Margo-Rita and Erie Ave pizzas, and both were crispy, bright, and flavorful. Tip: get the sauce flight (the garlic oil on the crust is delightful).
The sauce has to be my favorite part of our pizzas: the sauce is SO bright and fresh. Our server did a great job of balancing kind service and a slammed Friday night, too. I will be dreaming of this pizza – very sweet dreams.

St. Francis Apizza instantly vaults into my Top Five pizzas of all time. It’s superb—easily on par with Comprosso.
The New Haven style pizza was wonderful and the crust is pure art. While I suspect it’s wood-fired, not coal (unlike Natalie’s Grandview, which has a distinct coal flavor), it’s incredibly close to the original. And Wondering Monster pint was the perfect pairing. My wife also loved the simple pleasure of the glass bottle Coke and the side of olives.
Bonus points for offering frozen pies and dough balls to go!
The only minor critique was the Caesar salad, I thought the dressing was a bit fishy, though the fresh garlic and lettuce were perfect. Also, it was very busy (probably due to the recent Portnoy review) and hot due to the open wood-fired oven. Highly recommended; I can’t wait to try the thin crust next time.

We stopped by on a Sunday evening around 4:30 and had the pleasant surprise of being seated immediately. Both pizzas came out very quickly and met the high expectations that preceded our visit! The prices here for the pizza are really cheap especially for how amazing it is in my opinion. One thing to noted is their soda is sold by the can for $3 and the dipping sauces are $2 each. The owners did a wonderful job with the new location as it has the perfect vibe for a dine-in pizza establishment.
For those of you who don’t like “char” or “blackened” crust – they do offer a “light bake” option.

The pizza was perfection! Our waitress was very inattentive however. It wasn’t particularly busy, and we were almost out of water before the pizza arrived, but received no refill. We tried to catch the eye of other servers but no one seemed to pay attention. None the less, the pizza truly was delicious and probably my new fav pizza in Cincinnati. Would prob do take out next time than deal with the poor service.

Awesome pizza. Easily one of the best in Cincinnati. We dined in and it took about 45 minutes to get our food. Not a fan of Coke being the only soda option. Pricey.

We had the best date night at Saint Francis Apizza! My boyfriend read online that this is the best pizza in the city and has been wanting to try it for weeks. We got the New York style pizza with half bacon and half vegan pepperoni. It was incredible! The cheese had such a rich flavor and the toppings were all fresh. We also got the Caesar salad, which was just okay, so next time we will try a different salad. The customer service was fast, friendly, and attentive. And the atmosphere was so cozy on a cold winters night. Not too loud even though they were packed. Highly recommend!
