My friends and I stopped by for pre-dinner drinks before a reservation elsewhere, and we were so impressed! The vibe was incredible and the drinks were absolutely fabulous. We’ll definitely be back soon to dive deeper into the food menu!

Drinks – The old fashioned, bergamot (yummm), and passionfruit cocktails were all fantastic and dangerously easy to sip. Food was impressive too! We had the Tuna Tartare, whipped feta flatbread, pasta (amazingly delish), and the crispy brussel sprouts all disappeared as fast as they were served. Joe, our server, was on point all night and made sure we were always taken care of. Was it loud? Of course… but it was the fun, buzzy kind of loud and that made the night feel alive. Overall, a wonderful experience. An easy 5/5!

We had our engagement party/brunch here yesterday and it was perfect. The building itself is very pretty and cozy, the food was outstanding and the service was even better. They set our tables up to accommodate our large party and our waitress, I believe her name was Emma, was very kind and attentive! I had the tiramisu pancakes and of course an espresso martini. 10/10!

The food is always great here as well as the atmosphere! The vibe is great and the scenery is beautiful! The food is also amazing. The Parmesan French fries and Greek salad taste delicious! I also got a strawberry spritz and it tasted real good!

This place is my go to spot in Rochester! Beautiful decor, great small plates, and the staff are always so kind and helpful navigating the menu! Recommend mostly as a cocktail bar (the pistachio espresso martini is my favorite!) with food rather than solely a dinner spot but we usually split 3 or 4 plates for 3 people and are full! On the pricier side, but it is a nice cocktail bar in downtown Rochester, so keep this in mind and you won’t be disappointed!

The ambiance of this place is unmatched. It feels like a small restaurant in a hallmark film for Christmas. The staff are accommodating, professional, and friendly. The bathrooms are up to date and very clean. The coffee was phenomenal and all the food was fantastic. The Ricotta orange pancakes, apple French toast, sandwiches and breakfast burrito were fabulous. The prices were jot cheap but fairly comperable with most cocktails, coffee, and food prices in the area. Highly recommend!

Located within an 1881 church, Saint 1881 brings well made cocktails and small plates to the heart of downtown Rochester in a unique, modern setting.
We visited on a Thursday post-dinner, and it wasn’t super busy. The service was pleasant, helpful, and very attentive, while not imposing. Cocktails were fab: of course we tried the spicy margarita, which is made with pineapple but can ask for it without. We also made an off-menu request, essentially a spicy grapefruit margarita, which was cheerfully made without hesitation.
The charcuterie board was likely one of the best charcuterie boards I’ve had: the meats and accompanying accoutrements, from dates and candied pecans, to pickles, pickled capers, and marmalade we’re outstanding. I would have liked a bit more variety on the cheese, but overall it was a nice addition to our cocktails.
Other reviews have shared that the prices are high – however, for the cocktails I found them comparable to other types of upscale cocktail bars and restaurants in Rochester at ~$16 per cocktail. The small plates can definitely add up, though.

I had a $50 lunch that was inedible. I came in STARVING but the tuna on the salad was so bad I lost my appetite altogether. I informed the server, who was very nice, but she told me the owner would not refund food – even after the server confirmed the tuna was bad. The sweet server bought me a chocolate croissant. Nice, but it was a $50 lunch. Will not return.

Absolutely a beautiful place. The service was fantastic. Our waiter was awesome. He took care of the whole restaurant with no delays. The Husband and I enjoyed ourselves for my birthday. The Husband enjoyed the Filet Tips and I had the Tuna Tartare. Fab! We also shared the Pasta. It was delish. Their Old Fashion is a must of you like those kind of drinks.
