Saikō Sushi lives up to its name, providing “the highest” quality sushi in town. All fish is fresh daily from the local markets, and are expertly prepared. Pair your favorite sushi, sashimi, or nigiri with a wide selection of wine or sake and enjoy the atmosphere of the restaurant.

Nice little spot with fantastic food. Sashimi is ❤️. If you like salmon, the saiko salmon was buttery and melt in your mouth with the dipping sauce. Sake flight pairs well with the sashimi. 90 minute limit for eating.

Went for lunch on a weekday. Fantastic cuts of fish, well prepared. Very high quality but also very expensive (Coronado…par for course). Sat outside, server only stopped by a few times. Small place. Will visit again.

This is the Coronado location. We were there during happy hour from 4:30 to 6 PM at which time there are drinks, appetizer and sushi rolls offered at a reduced price. The Saiko roll was the best and was a top a sweet combo of sauces. The edamame with the garlic and salt was a hit too. Chloe was friendly and attentive as the server. Recommend.

Great location on Coronado and wonderful service! Came for lunch with some coworkers and the staff made some great suggestions on specials that ended up being our favorite rolls.

Great sushi place! Also had non-sushi foods, like gyoza and edomame, which was also good. Enjoyed the tempura cheesecake for dessert– nice. The place is small and fills up so reservations are suggested. Nice staff too.

The wait for the food was extremely long. We bought a few rolls and we waited for 40 minutes. We were about to leave because of how long it was taking and when they did bring the rolls the quality was awful, almost as if it was frozen and de-thawed in a microwave. One of the rolls was one we hadn’t ordered, they had it mixed up which wouldn’t be a big deal until you consider the amount of time we had to wait. It’s expensive and it isn’t worth your time or money.

I love coming here. Always friendly staff and delicious sushi. They can get busy sometimes and have limited seating, so I suggest calling and making a reservation.
