I fell in love these sandwiches when working in Morristown one day. I now must always get it when I visit. I’ve really enjoyed the #1 and #2. Today I tried the one with pork floss/silk and I was disappointed, unfortunately. The pork silk is not substantial enough to make the sandwich balanced. I’m not even someone who loves an oversized meaty sandwich either. But this was like eating a carrot sandwich with meat as a garnish, plus there was hardly any pate. I don’t recommend that sandwich, or if you get it, get extra meat. I ended having to order meat to put on the sandwich which is frustrating to spend the extra money. I suggest owners make sure people know they are getting mostly veggies if they order this sandwich. Otherwise I love them. The bread is great and the veggies are fresh and crisp.

Quick service and very flavorful food! I really love trying new things and this sandwich was so much different than anything I’ve ever had. All the flavors came together perfectly to deliver a well balanced, sweet but savory sandwich. My one little gripe is the toasting of the bread. The bread was so over-toasted that it was cutting up my mouth and took away from the enjoyment of the sandwich. It wasn’t burnt just so crispy and rough that I would definitely ask for the bread not to be toasted if I return.

Great local spot for bahn mi. The bread isn’t too hard like other places and everything is fresh. I had the s1 (Saigon special) and the s9 (thit Bo satay) both were excellent. The special is a classic and better in my opinion. It’s great on a hot day. The s9 came out hot and was very juicy. Will definitely be back to try more
Of their menu.

I may be a bit obsessed about these Banh Mis. The bread is so fresh, with a satisfying crispy crust, it’s best to eat them right away, even though table space is a bit cramped. The fillings are a perfect blend of tastes and textures with savory meat, pickled daikon and carrots, crunchy cucumber and pungent fresh cilantro. My favorite is the steak. BBQ pork patties and lemongrass chicken are strong runners up. The summer roll with shrimp and pork is also a strong contender. Craveable!

What a sandwich. The tofu bahn mi I mean. Stellar!
Usually bahn mi places neglect the vegetarian option. Not here. The Tofu is in curry sauce and has the most delightfully bouncy texture. The rest of the bahn mi (veg, baguette, sauce) is perfect. Ask for it spicy. Also they are so nice!

We stopped on a road trip on the way down from Massachusetts and these banh mi hit the spot. We placed a pickup order and it was ready super quickly and there was very friendly service at the counter. We’ve got some pretty great banh mi places at home and these gave them a run for their money, top notch. The pork belly was our absolute favorite. Would definitely return!

Super authentic, family-owned cute little local spot that is definitely worth a visit!
We had such a great late lunch here! The staff were super friendly and knowledgeable.
A no-frills little local spot that truly focuses on the food and the flavor. You can dine in or take out. They have a few tables inside, so we decided to dine in.
We got the Chay Báhn Mi sandwich (no cilantro, but added avocado). OMG, 10/10 for sure!! The pan-fried lemongrass tofu was amazing!! The flavors were incredibly complex and complimented by all the other fresh ingredients. The spice level was just right, the bread was crisp yet soft, the pickled veggies were vibrant and delicious, the fresh jalapeños gave us the perfect amount of heat, and the lemongrass seasoning on the sandwich was sooooo good!!!
The shrimp summer rolls were delicious and light. Perfect for a summer afternoon! The shrimp was super fresh, the lettuce, mint and basil were so crisp, refreshing and fragrant. The rice and noodles were perfectly cooked and all the ingredients worked so beautifully wrapped together in the delicate rice paper with the peanut dipping sauce.
We also ended up trying the Che Ba Mau dessert which is a three color layered dessert with coconut cream, shaved ice, pandan jelly, red bean, and mung bean, topped with crushed peanuts. It was so delicious and refreshing. Not too sweet, super great flavors and textures. We loved it! Reminded us of the Filipino Halo Halo dessert. It was awesome!!
It was evident that they only use high quality ingredients and really know how to balance flavors, which to me, is super important.
Can’t wait to try all the other dishes, we’ll definitely be back! We highly recommend this place!!

First time here the girl at the counter was very kind and funny. Ordered Saigon Special it was delicious. Crunchy, smoky, sweet, spicy so many components in the sandwich but cohesive and makes sense. Great prices for great quality. Not shocked they won best sandwiches in New Jersey some years back. Will definitely be returning to try other menu options. Keep up the good work!

So good, I love me a Bahn mi sandwich and boy do they do it right here. Well balanced ingredients and the star of the dish is the bread. Such a easy thing to either make or break these sandwiches but the bread here has that nice firm crispy outside that gives way to a soft tender inside gently caressing all of the ingredients inside. I wish I lived next door to this place I would pick up a sandwich here every other day and not be disappointed.
