The food is epic and Hien is the best. Even if Hien wasn’t my wife I would eat here almost everyday. I love her pho. The northern style pho isn’t the southern style you typically find in the United States. It’s a silky, smooth and hardy broth with garlic fried premium beef. She uses premium meat and bone from the local butcher to make her broth and proteins, authentic banh mi from a Vietnamese bakery, and uses imported coffee and spices. She loves feeding people and trying new recipes. She also keeps the food cart open until 11pm Friday and Saturday nights. Make sure to follow her on Facebook and instagram to see the specials she cooks up when feeling like trying something new.

Absolutely delicious! The pickled vegetables are crisp and refreshing, and the bread is perfectly crunchy and soft . I highly recommend this establishment thank you for the complimentary milk tea

I had the tofu bahn MI and it was delicious. Baguette was perfect, crisp on the outside soft on the inside. The veggies were fresh and plentiful. Food was ready in about ten minutes. My partner got a bbq chicken vermicelli noodle dish and it also looked very fresh and good.

I appreciate the food served here. I was an English teacher in Vietnam and the Cafe Sua (Iced coffee with milk) hits the mark perfectly. Smooth, not bitter. The Pho is delicious with a unique style. I really liked the prepared bowls that you pour the hot broth on!! The fresh rolls were scrumptious but be careful as they are individually wrapped and I ate the wrap . Plenty of pic nic tables to eat on with a quiet atmosphere.

It was late night pouring rain and I didn’t want to be eating bar food; I loved that they open late. The Northern Pho was sooooo good. Portions were very large too. I’m making sure I get another bowl before I leave back to Portland tmr!

My friend and I have discovered this restaurant by chance.
They served the good dishes, especially the Pho and Banh Mi.
To me, they exceeded expectations, and truly capture the authentic taste one would find in Vietnam.
It appears to be a promising spot for anyone craving authentic Vietnamese flavors in Astoria! 🙂
Absolutely, I’ll be back many more times!!!

Definitely a new hidden gem that hits the spot every time. Heen is always very friendly and the food doesn’t disappoint. The pho is always perfectly hot and comforting. The chewy noodles, tender meat, flavorful broth, bits of garlic and onion in each sip, make more the perfect bite(slurp) 10/10 Recommend if you’re looking for authentic Vietnamese comfort food and great service. Honorable mentions for the delicious bánh mì bread and Vietnamese iced coffee!

I was trying to find some food late at night and happened to find this food cart! The lady is nice(cute too), the pho is very good, noodles could need some work since they weren’t separating enough or loosening up in the soup(still good!).
Banh mi is also pretty good! No complaints there
The vietnamese coconut coffee is absolutely my favorite !!!!
