Always been curious to try this place out. But glad I was finally able to try it. It’s rich in history and they have specials that differentiate it from other pho places. Notably the dry pho, the pho sate and calamari.

The sate was more on the creamy and nutty side given the peanut based soup. Could use a bit more spiciness but delicious overall. Would highly recommend this place, bumped to one of my choices of pho in Ottawa

Ordered the medium rare beef pho and spring rolls. The broth is good however beef was overdone and onion was sliced too thick for my liking. I prefer egg noodles but to change noodle type is a 3$ charge which I find a little pricey. The pho toppings were scarce. The spring rolls were good but 12$ for 2 spring rolls. Overall, about 30$ for lunch was expensive; this place would benefit from lunch specials.

service is good, food is not good. Very little amount even in downtown area, like a snack portion rather a meal. Plus the Ingredients are the cheapest one. Won’t come back again.

I used to come here often but was went back last week and the quality seems to have gone down a bit. The pho broth doesn’t taste like it used to. I used to prefer this pho to all the places in Chinatown but I don’t think I’ll be coming back after the most recent visit. The special spring rolls also changed quite a bit. Service was good though.

The food at Saigon Pho is excellent and the service is great! If you’re here, please make sure that you order #139 (Saigon Vegetarian Hot Pot). It’s so yummy! 5 Stars for Ha’s service!

This is your average Vietnamese restaurant with average food, average service and average prices. Don’t expect anything too extravagant or interesting. I’ve been here a few times during my lunch breaks and it’s always been busy which is a good sign yet I don’t know if it’s worth the wait. I would say that it’s okay to visit if you’re out of other options but I wouldn’t go out of my way to try this place. Okay overall.

Food are decently priced and had a good taste to it. There’s a big variety of selection to choose from which me & my family liked a lot. However the rice in the dishes we picked were a bit raw for our taste. But didn’t ruin the overall experience

My partner and I are regulars here. During the pandemic we weren’t able to come and after 3 months away we were greeted warmly and they even remember our regular orders!
We love coming here. The food is good and very reasonably priced.

The server was absolutely lovely – the soup was not. Super weird taste, maybe the chili oil I added had gone bad? Either way, I couldn’t eat it. And the atmosphere is very drab – decor is really musty and dated. Overall, a sad experience.
