I ordered one dozen of the white clams and 4 is bad already, we ate the 8 okay one.
But after few hours I got diarrhea for 8 times, it like food poisoning.
We ate there all the time, but lately this place is horrible serving bad food to their customers.
We not gonna go back anymore, we don’t want food poisoning again.
If you don’t want to get food poisoning, just stay away from this restaurant.
This is a relatively new (at least in the last 10 years since I’ve come back to Dorchester) vietnamese restaurant. The staff are always really friendly and offer iced tea right when you get in and sit down.
I ordered the salt toasted pork chop plate which was huge. The pork chops are super moist and crispy when you take a bite and the portion size is huge. The grilled chicken with rice reminded me of my childhood. The chicken was cooked perfectly and seasoned well.
Their salt toasted squid and soft shell crabs are great if you love seafood and calamari style dishes. Just be aware that they can be a bit spicy, so make sure you let them know if you want it mild. Adding pork chops to that dish will run you an extra $6, but it’s a huge plate.
I also loved their spring rolls and garlic snow pea leaves. They absolutely love up to any Chinese restaurant in quality and flavor. Their fried tofu and fixed vegetables are also solid dishes if you’re going vegetarian.
Overall some dishes can be a little pricey if you custard customizing dishes, but the portion sizes definitely make up for it.
