The staff are very friendly, and the open space has a clean, modern interior.
The food is quite good, though not particularly memorable.
If you notice a slight gamey or fishy taste in the meat, I recommend asking for some cilantro to add.
Perhaps because I recently found an excellent banh mi place, I wouldn’t recommend the banh mi here.

A very standard Vietnamese restaurant.
The pho was very good, the flavor of the broth is standout compared to many of the older South sac establishment (which have gone down in quality dramatically)
The meat tasted fresh but the beef rib/bone was wanting in flavor.
The bun thicn nuong left me wanting, Pho City and Viet Ha still do it better

I’ve been here twice and definitely coming back my whole family. Khai is a very nice server. Friendly smiley face. ☺️ The pho broth is top notch. So flavorful and fresh. I got the beef bone pho and the meat just falls off the bone and melt in my mouth. The grilled pork plate was also delicious. The side sauce was yummy. The chicken wings were so crisp and tasty. Chefs kiss.

stopped by Saigon Kitchen Express and it was very solid. clean, updated interior and friendly servers. the pho broth was flavorful, beef rib was tender, bone marrow was rich and buttery, and portions were generous. would definitely come back 🙂

I am a food critic and after having an outstanding dining experience here today at Saigon Kitchen Express with amazing customer service from their firendly and warm staff, I am giving them a 9.5 out of 10 overall score. The food is amazing.. the quality is superior. The price is right on the money, I was super shocked to see the special house pho with beef ribs at only $15. The eggrolls were so yummy. The appetizers ooh lala yummy to the tummy. Judge for yourself and come support this place. The ambience, spacious real estate, and modern looks will astound every customers. Best of all is their friendly and hospitable staff. Their cuisine is delicious.

My mom and I finally came after weeks of seeing the “Grand Opening” banner. We’re so glad we did and wish we came sooner! Saigon Kitchen Express offers delicious appetizers, bahn mi, soup, vermicelli bowls and rice plates at very reasonable prices. I hear their smoothies are also delicious – however we did not try them during this visit.
My mom ordered the grilled pork vermicelli bowl($12.50) and I ordered the large spicy beef noodle soup ($15) (Check out the photos attached!) Both portions were ample and left us feeling very satisfied. We also shared a spring roll appetizer – nice and crispy.
The staff here are very earnest and friendly. It’s clear that they care a lot about this restaurant and want it to succeed. They offered great recommendations

We ordered the oxtail pho and the #3 with lean beef, brisket, and meatballs. It came out piping hot, with lots of green onions, bean sprouts, basil, and lemon. The broth was very clean and clear, with a lovely flavor. We also are enjoying the mangonada and avocado smoothies. They are sweet but not too sweet, and the mangonada has lots of chamoy and tajin. We are already looking forward to visiting again and trying the rest of their menu!

They just opened not too long ago so I had to try them out since I love pho. First impression the place is very roomy there was a lot of seats and the staff was really friendly. I ordered their shrimp and crab egg rolls and ox tail pho. The shrimp and crab egg rolls were ok, I thought that there was no crab flavor and their dipping sauce lacked flavor. There also wasn’t any greens served so to me they were meh… The pho had ok flavor to it but again I feel like there should have been more flavor to the broth. Maybe it is because they are still new here but for me, Overall I’d have had better pho. I would come back because the service was very friendly. Next time I’ll probably try one of their other dishes.
Update: pho here is a lot better than when they opened! I come here often now! The pho is very flavorful and their new dishes are amazing like the bone marrow with toast!

I really enjoyed this newbie. The dishes were made fresh and the portion sizes were generous. Tender grilled pork and chicken tasted well seasoned on the Vermicelli noodle dish. Highly recommend.

Was excited to try Saigon Express after seeing the reviews and high ratings, however, my experience was dismal and disappointing. I ordered the mango smoothie and it didn’t look anything like the picture in the restaurant, it was more of a milkshake. It also didn’t taste very good. I also ordered the pork belly banh mi and was very disappointed in the portion size. It was basically all bread and the skimped out on the filling. It was honestly embarrassing, like how anybody thought that would be okay to send out to a customer is beyond me. I ordered some spring rolls and those were also very tiny, which is fine as they were quite tasty! Anyways, probably not going to go back.
