Delicious food with good portions but unfortunately we had one cup with lipstick stain and a fork with some dried bits on it. Just be careful I guess, the food was very good though!
Ps. The Vietnamese coffee didn’t come with the drippy contraption I like to see

Friendly staff and attentive service combined with delicious food made for a great night out with friends. All of the dishes we ordered freshly prepared and hot out of the kitchen, brought to our table still sizzling! We were all very happy with our orders.

Absolutely fell in love with this place. They really have taken the time and effort to maintain a type of service I feel is dieing within the the food industry.. we were greated at the door with a smile, the Vietnamese coffee is a new favorite.. perfect amount of caffeine, creaminess and sweetness.. the soups taste like it’s made with love and years of experience… my client and I were so satisfied with everything we will most definitely be coming back.
When we went to leave the owner/cook introduced himself, thanked us and wished us a good day. When I mentioned it was are first time we had a great conversation on some history of the place. Thank you for going above and beyond giving the best service I’ve had in a long time.

A small, family run restaurant which never disappoints! The beef rolls are one of my favourite things on their menu. Truly special and can’t be found anywhere else! Their chicken curry and pho dac biet are my go-to items. I’ll always come back here when I’m in town and craving some good Vietnamese! The servers are always polite and attentive. Overall, a very clean, humble restaurant which has the staples and some very unique dishes to supplement!

Tasty and casual dining experience at Saigon Kitchen on Nanaimo. This is authentic Vietnamese cuisine and includes standards like pho and vermicelli bowls. But the reason that I continue to go to Saigon Kitchen is for their claypot chicken and mushrooms (see the attached photo of the empty bowl – I cleaned out that dish for dinner)! It is absolutely wonderful. I crave it all the time when I’m back on the Mainland. I can’t wait to return when I’m on the Island.

First time travel here, As a Vietnamese, I never had a chicken in the Banh Xeo before. And 22$ for it. What a joke. Also I was quite shocked by the owner — someone who belonged to the old regime, which lost after pandering to the U.S. in an attempt to prevent the reunification of South Vietnam during the Vietnam War. He made discriminatory remarks toward our friend, who is from Northern Vietnam. Even though I myself am from the South, I’m still fed up with his attitude and behavior.

The service was fantastic. We are a family that mainly orders vegetarian food. We had the veg spring rolls, curry, crepe and chowmein. We also had one Pho (B1). It was all delicious highlights veg curry, spring rolls and Pho. Great prices and quantity is served from the heart.
** pics below were taken half way through our meal ♀️. I forgot and everyone else was very hungry 🙂

Good spot for a quick pho. The broth was on the sweeter side. I ordered B1, but sadly the tendon was missing, and the brisket wasn’t quite what I expected either.
