The broth leaned more on the savory side with a nice touch of oil leftover. The prices were the cheapest I’ve seen compared to any other pho place but it only came with brisket slices. I did miss the tendons and tripe parts. Asked for extra thai basil and apparently I took the last one. The noodles were so clean I didn’t see any starch come from them when I broke it apart which is a great sign. Got the large size- large pho typically gouges me if I eat it all but I cleaned my bowl and didn’t feel gouges. It was the right amount but a tad smaller than expected but enough to satisfy after a 6 mi run
I think I’ll be back to try their banh mi since the plate that they serve it on is a vibe and possibly the banh canh since it’s irregular
My friend likes here better than other Vietnamese restaurant on the ave!
You can get much better on the Ave; I wouldn’t come here again.
Unfortunately, when my partner and I got there around 1 pm on a Friday, we couldn’t tell who the host was, and the place had supplies/food ingredients sitting out everywhere. After waiting for about 5 minutes, we finally asked if we could be helped. That’s when the host, who was standing talking to a friend, decided to seat us.
The table was dirty, and we had to ask for a towel to clean it off. I ordered the been pho, and my partner ordered their spicy noodle dish. The taste was savory for both soup dishes, although my pho was overly seasoned for pho Broth.
Disorganized service, dirty seating area, and food was only decent. I would probably not stop here again and would rather try a completely new Vietnamese restaurant instead.
