I was really surprised when I looked at Google reviews and saw the 3.7 rating for this place. As I read through the reviews it was obvious the low score was due to service, not the food. Apparently some people feel like the counter lady is rude. Sadly this is a turn off to some people but for me it’s all about the food baby! So I went in feeling like I was in that Seinfeld episode with the soup nazi, lol I ordered the BBQ pork Bahn Mi and I’m here to tell you it was top of the market. When I ordered she asked me how many I want and when I said one she just stared at me and asked again, how many do you want? So again I reply, one. As it turns out if you order 3 you get a 4th one free and that is a popular thing to do here. So I survived the ordering process without to much confusion. At only $5 for a righteous fresh made Bahn Mi is without a doubt the best deal in town! I also ordered a fresh crushed sugar chain drink with lime, this stuff is good and very good for you.
Ignore the low Google score and check out this excellent Vietnamese sandwich shop. Please try not to be too thin- skinned when you come here , and yeah maybe sometimes the staff might be a short with you, so get over it and treat yourself to a yummy meal.
By the way they are geared towards take out so they only have a couple of tables.

2025 and guess what their sandwiches are still $5.00!! Pair this with their coconut juice it’s chef’s kiss . I loved how their bread is warm and has a crusty buttery glaze and all the stuff inside super fresh and crunchy.
There is a cultural thing happening here where ppl complain about the order lady and honestly I feel it’s just a cultural thing. She’s not intentionally rude. She’s actually nice. We’re all different.

The sandwiches from here are so good! It is definitely a take out place. They always have great deals, and the sandwiches are so cheap! It is buy 3 sandwiches, get one free! I paid $17 for 4 sandwiches! I got the combo, fried fish cake and fried egg! They were all delicious! Service is pretty quick!

The customer service here is always amazing! The lady in the front (Co 7) and the lady in the back (Co Tuyet) are so sweet and welcoming every time I come in. They always greet me with a smile and make me feel like family. The food comes out really fast, and it’s always fresh, hot, and delicious. Every visit has been consistent, and I always leave happy and satisfied. This place is definitely one of my favorites!

On 9-30-25 I went to this deli to get a sandwich. I have been going here many many times for years. The lady that works up front is so IGNORANT, RUDE AND DEFENSIVE. I have given them the benefit of the doubt every time and now this is what broke the camel’s back. I am half Asian/German and I really hate to say this about my own race but most of these vietnamese owners or workers in this particular corridor (like this deli and the supermarket next to them called Nguyen Loi Supermarket) do not know how to service or deal with the public. If you are not their race or you are mix, they treat you very indifferent, rude and are very unhelpful.

I went in the deli today to buy a sandwich. There was another lady in front of me at the counter and the counter lady waited on her then it was my turn. The counter lady totally ignored me and proceeded to help the lady in back of me! I did not say anything , then the lady in the kitchen said to help me because I was here first. The counter lady then helped me then I thanked her and asked for a receipt after I paid. When I left and half way home, I looked at my receipt and noticed she over charged me. “It was the principal for me to go back”. I went back and said politely to her she overcharged me. She started getting defensive and yelling saying she did not. Asked her to give me the receipt she rung me up before then and she couldn’t. “I was not born yesterday, so she printed a new receipt for me and said here”. No lady!, why would I want a receipt for now when I came in before! Told her I might not speak flued vietnamese but do understand and she is rude and this is not right. All of the sudden she said she does not speak English and don’t understand what I am saying now!
There is a lot of other sandwich places I can go to purchase a sandwich and this will be my last time I will be doing business with this place!

Buy 3 get 1 free on the bahn mi sandwiches cant beat that! They don’t skimp on the protein. People saying the lady is mean? Just let her know if you are eating inside or outside. I’ve never had a bad experience here. Highly recommend trying it!

Rude customer service, there was molded cucumber in one of Banh Mi. Customer service was especially disrespectful, they prejudice against English-speaking customers. There are other Banh Mi shops that uphold integrity and I’d recommend spending your money elsewhere.

The older cashier lady with the red hair is so rude. First time I was in there she paid no mind to me. I asked her questions about the menu. She said she didn’t know. I felt rushed then another experience because I thought she might’ve had a bad day she threw my food at me, chunked it on the counter

lady at the counter is definitely high energy but i cant call her rude. she was very kind to us and patient while i looked through the snacks. honestly, i just think its a cultural difference. viet people tend to talk loudly (or shout…) and bluntly, but usually theres no malice behind it.she gets the job done with no frills. the buy 3 get 1 free is a good deal too, and it worked out for us since we were ordering 4 anyways.
ordered thit nuong banh mi and i really enjoyed it. i’m happy that the veggies come on the side so they dont get too soggy. the lemongrass in the pork was delicious. oh, also the dried mango with chili was good. i’m definitely coming back here sometime.

These are our absolute favorite Bahn Mi Sandwiches. You can get topping on the side or in the sandwich. We like getting them on the side, order extra for the next day (buy 3 get 1 free), and toast in them in the oven when we get home. Must try!
