Nice place, but overpriced. I went for lunch and the fried rice was $19. Bland for Vietnamese food – server did not ask how hot I wanted it, and I had to dump in a lot of hot sauce and hoisin to make it tasty. Would be worth going to if prices were lower, but a bill of $31 for one person for an appetizer and entree is too much.

Was disappointed in how few vegetarian options they had, since this is an Asian restaurant in the CWE.

I can’t resist returning to this place at least once a week—it’s that good! The beef broth is undoubtedly among the best in St. Louis, and their incredibly crispy spring rolls keep me coming back for more. My all-time favorite dish on the menu is the mouthwatering B3 (I always forget the actual name of it), which is an absolute must-try for anyone visiting this fantastic establishment. The outstanding flavors, generous portions, and memorable dining experience make this restaurant a true gem in the city.

We had lunch there last weekend and really enjoyed it. The place has a nice, quiet vibe. If you’re vegan or vegetarian, they’ve got a separate menu with everything clearly marked. The regular menu doesn’t show that info, so a couple of dishes we thought were vegan actually weren’t. The staff was friendly and helpful, and while the prices are a bit on the higher side, I’d still highly recommend it – especially if you’re vegan or vegetarian.

Amazing Vietnamese restaurant- freshly prepared dishes, with high quality ingredients and tasty flavors. Everything we tried was very flavorful.

Spring rolls, curry chicken, fried rice and lemongrass chicken was exceptional.
The 5 spice old fashioned is a great twist on the classic and tasted amazing.

Restaurant is neat and clean with super friendly and welcoming service.

This is no secret to many people, but Saigon Café is one of the best dining experiences you will have in Saint Louis. To add onto it, they happen to have a master mixologist, Eddie. He crafts drinks that are crisp, balanced, and perfectly complement the vibrant cuisine. With Eddie behind the bar, Jimmy and the entire staff (including the owner, Michael) handling the services, Saigon Café becomes not just a meal, but a complete dining experience. We continue to bring any friends and family that visit to this restaurant and my husband I treat ourselves regularly to this amazing place!

I enjoyed my food but I’m a little disappointed by the portion size and relative price. I paid $28 total for essentially 10 bites of rice with 4 pieces of shrimp (tails still attached unfortunately) and 4 pieces of tofu. At almost $30 I feel like I should at least have enough for leftovers, and this is coming from someone with a very small appetite. It was yummy but I don’t think I’ll be coming back due to the disproportionate prices. Staff are nice though and I’ve always enjoyed their large group catering.

In town for business and had the urge for some good Vietnamese food. This place really stood out to me so I gave it a try and boy was that a good idea.

I started off with the Chicken wings…sticky, sweet and a hint of spice, the perfect level of crispy. Then I ordered the Bo Luc Lac (Steak Cubes). The quality of meat was felt in my first bite…. perfectly cooked and juicy…packed with great flavor. I requested fried rice for an up charge and was well worth it. The fried rice was tasty, not oily and great portion size. Overall, loved eating here, the service was excellent and from a price-point perspective, worth every penny!

Vietnamese restaurant, open every day but Sunday for lunch & dinner in the Central West End of St. Louis, Missouri. The menu has a wonderful selection to pick from & they do serve alcohol. I parked on the street, and was greeted as soon as I walked in by friendly and efficient wait staff. The restaurant is clean & bright, with plenty of tables and a small bar right when you come in. There’s patio seating in warmer months. I was there for lunch and waited less than five minutes to be seated. The place was pretty full & busy and I could see the staff excelled at keeping everything going smoothly. I ordered the Pho Chay (vegan soup) & oolong tea which was served after a very reasonable waiting time. The soup was excellent; it had great flavor & tender crisp veggies. I only wished it had more than 2 pieces of tofu. The other thing was I felt the oolong tea could have been better. It had an off taste, maybe it was old. Other than those two things, I feel this is a wonderful restaurant & I do plan on coming back next time I’m in the area.
