First and last time visiting this location. I decided to give them a try because I went to the one in Buford the week before, and really enjoyed the food. However, this location does not compare.
I should have known to run when I was the ONLY person inside. The lady was sitting at a table eating when I walked in. I guess I caught her by surprise because it took her a minute to get up and acknowledge me. After sitting, I finally decided on something and it was not good at all… total waste of my time, gas, and money.
I’m sorry… but I can’t recommend anyone to waste their hard earned money on this place. RUN!!! ♀️ fast

Been coming here for years. Love the pho, never ordered anything else because I never had to. Pho ga and pho tai are both fantastic. Atmosphere is always nice and the staff are very sweet. Can’t recommend the pho here enough

Great food despite being very busy.
Tom Kha didn’t taste like other places but still delicious.
Vermicelli was good but sauce was weak
Skewers were delicious but little over priced
No notes on the spring rolls
Smoothie was yummy but tasted like lychee instead of passion fruit

This Pho is as good as any on Buford Hwy. The place isn’t fancy, nor is it priced that way. I really don’t hesitate to make Saigon Cafe my Go-to pho place. If you haven’t tried it, you really need to. Note- like all Pho places, they keep it COLD in the winter. Bring a jacket.

Reliably excellent. I reserve 5 star for restaurants which provide consistently reliable food, service and atmosphere OR simply knock my socks off. I have not given many, but Saigon Cafe is well deserved. Today was my 50th visit to Saigon Cafe since 2016. No business is perfect, so sure there is still room for growth to teach perfection: the parking in this mini-mall sucks, and they don’t offer all the exotic Vietnamese dishes I love to adventure like wrapping my own spring rolls, squid salad, seaweed salad and Papaya salad. However, what they DO serve is top notch, flavorful, and delicious. Saigon Cafe is a perfect spot for a family dinner, including the grandma or picky kindergartner who are adventuring Vietnamese for their first time. The decor is lovely, not too much but enough to transport your imagination to a village near Ho Chi Minh City. Grandma will like the crispy chicken wings, and grandchild may enjoy a treat of Boba. A vegetarian won’t be disappointed, neither will a date sharing rich Tom Kha. They play good music, but not too loud.
It’s a family friendly restaurant. My son has grown up here. Once I momentarily forgot about an allergy issue, and the waiter remembered! He ASKED if I wanted the item with or without the allergen. Today, I had Pho. My son had BbQ pork. Coming here as “a treat” after a rough trip to the doctor’s office makes my son happy and that makes me happy. Saigon Cafe truly gets a special place in my heart.

Call it glaze all you want, this place was Fantastic 4 real. The soups are soo good and i recommend the Pad Thai. They even gave my family when we visited a free drink for Thanksgiving. It’s affordable especially with the big proportions. Though as said before, they have big proportions, that shouldn’t be that much of an issue. Would come back again, 10/10

I did a pick up order today on 12/31/2025 for Shrimp Pho once I got it home when I opened it this is what I seen if they make a mistake and do something like this with a mobile or imagine what can be happening if you eat a bowl inside absolutely unacceptable they should be wearing nets on head and checking food before serving

I had the chicken pho at Saigon Cafe and it was delicious. I have eaten at a lot of pho restaurants in Atlanta and the broth here was the best: a rich chicken flavor. Plus, the slices of chicken in the pho were tender and flavorful. I highly recommend Saigon Cafe!

I really thought hard about leaving this review because my Dad and I actually enjoyed the food here in our previous visits. We always order a couple of appetizers with our meal; one of which being the wings. This time, as I pulled one of the wings apart, I noticed blood. I called one of the waitresses over and showed her. She went back and sent our waiter over. He asked me if I wanted a free ice coffee, I said no but you can bring out another order of the wings. Do you know they came out, check the rest of our wings and brought out a single wing to replace the bleeding one. Lol. I just assumed at the point they planned on taking the wings off our bill but NOPE! Full charge. I finally had to speak up because I was trying to be considerate. When I asked them about charging us for the wings, our waiter said he had to go talk to the manager. He came back and said that the manager told him to take half off which was about $4. You telling me after sending out uncooked food to a customer, you couldn’t take a $8.99 loss? The lack of simple customer service and customer care is the reason I am writing this and won’t be returning. Unbelievable

It’s like an IHOP of Asian food.
I started eating at this location more than a dozen years ago in search of decent gluten-free and dairy-free food. It’s affordable and works for that.
It’s been a few years since I’ve been back to this location and they made some nice improvements. The service is better, the inside is brighter and feels more inviting.
It’s much more than Vietnamese food. They serve classic Chinese dishes like Mongolian beef and Thai dishes as well. The menu is big and divided into sections. It has colorful pictures of dishes which are useful.
I’ve tried a number of the dishes but always go back to the Singapore rice noodles. The spice and texture is a unique combination that I don’t find elsewhere. The spring rolls are also a favorite of mine.
This is about having a dependably good meal that is affordable with quick table service. I love Vietnamese food but this is like a gateway to more authentic restaurants that may feel authentic but may scare you off.
