Really craved filling but refreshing food the past few days and decided to try out this new Vietnamese fast casual on the East side. We received immediately hospitality upon ordering and throughout our meal by the man who serviced the front and those back of the house delivering our meals to us even as they go their dinner rush. The place is very comfortable and personable as well, great for the location on the East side and the community that comes and goes.
The food was worth it for what you pay and is a fresh hot option to have in the area. The crab ragoons were nicely crunchy, and freshly cooked. The Banh mi special were filled well and taste delicious spiced up with their sauces they have ready for you at the counter. in comparisons to other $7-10 sandwhiches in the area , this is reccomendation.
Also wanted to try something new, so I ordered the mango shrimp salad, definitely what I needed for fresh and Herby fix. Great portion with the sweetness of the mango, and added flavor of the Daikon, cucumber, and tai basil if I’m not mistaken.
And I know there’s plenty of pho choices out there but this is great choice if you don’t want to have a full sit down and late looking to get the craving satisfied in the East Side / Lower East side Area

I am so glad this restaurant opened up here. The food is always delicious, and the service is both fast and high quality, with a friendly owner and employees. They make the bread for their Banh mi fresh every day, and it shows! The sandwiches are so good that we went back multiple times in a week. The special pho also is flavorful, and generous with the amount of meat and additions. The spring rolls and egg rolls (not pictured) are also very good, with a good amount of filling. This is a new favorite spot for pho and Banh mi!

Their special combo bánh mì is perfectly authentic, thin, crispy crust with a generous amount of fillings, including housemade butter, pâté, pickled veggies, and fresh herbs, just like in Vietnam. Their Vietnamese coffee tastes rich and original, not overly sweet. Prices are very reasonable, and the service is quick and friendly. The place is clean, and you can see the staff making the sandwiches right next to the cashier — everything looks fresh and hygienic. Definitely coming back!

Pho was out really fast as expected and was delicious! I got P2 option. My only minor complaint is that the hoisin sauce was in small containers (which work for to go orders, but not as good for dining in if you like to use a spoonful amount). Actually had a lot of dine-in customers for people looking for a quick eat when it’s cold out with plenty of 2 person tables away from the door. The location is small though, so that’s the minus but having Vietnamese food on the East Side again is a win for everyone . They give a good amount of jalapeño slices too, but I don’t like it so I gave it to my friend. Looking to try the banh mi!
There is parking in front of the store, but you can also park in the parking structure above Whole Foods for free if it looks busy. Highly recommend, it’s a Vietnamese business too. Pricing is fair, you get a large bowl so if you don’t typically finish a large bowl, maybe opt for the banh mi sandwich.

Excellent Pho!
Went there on a Thursday night and had the whole place to myself.
Got the pho and it did not disappoint. Bigger chunks of meat – typically pho has thin sliced beef but it was still banging!

I work nearby so I had to check out this place during lunch. The bah mi was delicious – 10/10. Very affordable price as well – $7.95! Can’t beat that. The spring rolls were good – 8/10. I enjoyed it. Very fresh and light. The peanut sauce to pair with the spring rolls though, was 11/10. I like how they give you a good amount and not small like other restaurants. Also had the bobba tea, which was solid – 7/10. The bobba pearls were soft and chewy, so that’s a plus. I know some restaurants can still be kind of frozen or tough, but not these.
The restaurant itself was very clean and smelled good. Love the big tv with music in the background. I’m one who dislike going to a restaurant where it’s just dead silence and in return can setup an awkward dining experience, so having background music definitely sets up a nice vibe.
Overall, will have to go back and try other dishes. Hoping this place will stay for a while as there’s not much or any Vietnamese option on the east side of MKE. I know other restaurants have tried their pitch in this location, but I’m really hopeful for this one. Keep up the great food!

Finally a great Vietnamese restaurant we can walk to on the Eastside! We’ve spent some time Vietnam so Id like to think we have an idea of what authentic Vietnamese cuisine is like and I’d say the Pho tenderloin was excellent. The broth was flavorful and it came with an appropriate amount of meat and noodles. Another table ordered the Banh Mi and it also looked delicious, so now we will have to come back to try that as well! Staff was also very friendly.

This place is such a hidden gem on lower east side! I love taking out some Vietnamese sandwiches and pho after a hard day on my way home. I really love fried egg sandwich and tofu sandwich! Crisp outside and chewy and soft inside. The sauce is really good too. As for pho, I did pho brisket take out and the broth was good and delicious, perfect for cold weather

They deserve every bit of that high rating. The service was amazing, gave me a free water because I had to wait like 9mins. They were incredibly patient with me and helped with the order process 10/10

They do a great to-go pho! I’m Celiac and there plenty of things for me to eat there. Ive found that all the pho is celiac safe. (I just use my own hoisin sauce.) It’s my go-to spot to pick up after work.❤️ Love having them in the neighborhood!
