If you haven’t been in a while—or have never been—you need to go. The beautifully remodeled Sai Ram is amazing. The food is full of flavor and made fresh to order every time. Mango juice was so fancy that the cup sounded plastic…but wait…it is not! It is in fact glass! Do not try to drop test cup. Jk I didn’t drop it. The cup is fine and thriving. Also the food had no smell…I am not sure if that was because I have a cold or not. But I do know if there is a fire in my house tonight, you better not trust my nose to alert anyone. 10 out of 5 stars. And yes…the mango juice was truly 100% juice. And I am just tired and should call it a night.

“Sai Ram – A trip down the memory lane”
I was long overdue in visiting this restaurant, and I’m so glad I finally did. Hands down, it’s the best Indian food in the area. The decor is elegant and aesthetically appealing, setting the tone for a wonderful dining experience.⚜️
We ordered the SAMOSA chaat, and trust me—it’s on par with what you’d find at the best places in India. Absolutely terrific.
The MANGO lassi and GULAB jamun were amazing; the warm gulab jamuns, in particular, were the perfect way to end an excellent meal. My friend had the FALOODA – a syrupy sweet dessert, and loved it.
The chicken TANGADI kebab had the perfect char you’d expect from a local Delhi tandoor restaurant.
My favorite part of the meal, though, was the garlic NAAN easily one of the best I’ve ever had. A subtle garlic flavor, light on the palate, and incredibly delicious.
Thank you, Sai Ram, for taking me on a nostalgic journey back to India.

Had very great service. First time eating here. First time trying Indian cuisine out. Our server explained the food dishes very well Also asked us how spicy we wanted our plates I went for a 3 on the Curry Chicken. It was just the right amount of spice for me. The favor in the Sauce Wow made me speechless

I’m not even joking when I say Sai Ram Indian Cuisine has been a legitimate factor in major life decisions. Was thinking about moving out of the Fox Valley? Then I remembered I’d be leaving this place behind and suddenly staying put seemed like the obviously correct choice. My realtor was confused but I stand by it. Pretty sure it’s going in my wedding vows at this point.
Every single time I go, I order something different, and every single time I’m blown away. Doesn’t matter what I point to on the menu, could probably close my eyes, spin around three times, and randomly point at something and it would still be the best thing I’ve eaten that week. The flavors are incredible, the portions are generous, and the consistency is so unmatched it’s honestly suspicious. What are they doing back there? Magic? Probably.
I’ve brought so many people here over the years and not a single person has disliked it. In fact, they all rave about it and STILL bring it up years later like it’s a core memory. That’s the Sai Ram effect.
And the staff? Absolutely amazing. They actually recognized us out in the community and came over to say hi, so genuinely kind and friendly it made me emotional. That’s the kind of customer service that makes you feel like family. Honestly might start going just to hang out at this point.

Our food and service were stellar, our chili paneer appetizer was demolished quickly and we loved our lamb vindaloo and koorma, the lamb was suuuper tender and flavorful. I’ve been coming here for about a decade now and I’ve never been disappointed. Our server was super friendly and kind to both of us at the table too, despite how busy she seemed to be. I wish I could remember her name to shout her out! Maybe if those at the restaurant see this, they can find out and commend her? She complimented my eyeliner specifically and I was with a red-haired man! Hope that’s enough info lol

This is a fine Indian restaurant with really decent ambiance in their well maintained dining room. Our piping hot dishes were excellent, and the service was top notch. Chicken masala was available with dark meat. My son loved the lamb. There is also a nice selection of vegan offerings if my daughter is in town. We will be back again for the bold flavors and proper rice.

Never had Indian food before so we decided to give it a shot. Over all flavor was great. Garlic nan was sooo good. As far as the service, didn’t have any. The lady that took our order, I’m not even sure if she was a waitress or just filling in? I asked a question about the chicken in a dish and she replied “I have no idea” which is a really odd response. No one came to ask us how our food was until we were done eating and she brought the check. Atmosphere was lacking. We were sat near the front and and there were missing floor boards, no ambiance. Definitely not a place for a romantic date night. Glad we tried something new but won’t be back.
