From the moment you step in, Aunty and Uncle welcome you with heartfelt warmth, serving food infused with even more love and joy. The vibe of Sai Prasad Indian Restaurant instantly makes you feel like you’re among friends. I absolutely adore the owners—despite being in their 50s/60s, their passion and dedication shine through, and it’s inspiring to see them living their dream every single day.
The food is incredible, the mood is uplifting, and the experience captures the very essence of authentic Indian hospitality. I personally cannot get enough of their samosa chaat—it’s simply divine! Sai Prasad isn’t just a restaurant; it’s a place where good food meets great vibes and genuine love.

The service was exceptionally friendly, and we trusted the server to choose our dishes (see photos). Every item was fresh and full of flavour. We also enjoyed the homemade mango lassi—smooth, fragrant, and absolutely delightful. I highly recommend this colorful little restaurant!

Here’s your refined review:
We tried multiple dishes on our first visit today and were amazed to see so many authentic Surati dishes on the menu. Everything we ordered was excellent, and the food tasted genuine—free from colorants or artificial flavors, especially noticeable in the jalebi. We’ll definitely revisit to explore other dishes as well!

Our group tried many delicious dishes here, including Surati locho for the first time, and everything was absolutely amazing! This family-owned gem is run by the most delightful couple who make you feel right at home. What sets this place apart isn’t just the excellent food – it’s the warm, genuine hospitality. We ended up having the most wonderful philosophical conversation with the owners, and they shared something that really resonated with us: “appreciate what you have right now.” It’s rare to find a restaurant where both the food and the people nourish your soul. If you’re in Windsor, I highly recommend checking out this place – and while you’re there, take a moment to appreciate the experience, because it’s truly special. Definitely coming back!

The best food. The owners were so nice and gave great service. The wife who cooks everything from scratch and explained everything so we could try new things. Everything was Delicious! Very authentic! Loved it and can’t wait to go back. Oh and the mango smoothie was perfect treat. If you go see this special couple tell them Jeff and Jackie sent you.

It was a very great experience. I loved the food. I felt like I ate pure Indian food over here. The owner couple is very helpful when someone has a restriction of few ingredients such as Onion and garlic. I loved the environment of the restaurant. It was a pleasure to be sitting. The place is located approximately 10-15 minutes from the University of Windsor. I recommend this place for anyone living in Windsor or coming to Windsor for the authentic taste of India. I will visit this place more often from now on.

Had a wonderful experience at Sai Prashad in Windsor! The owners are incredibly warm, welcoming and friendly. you truly feel like a valued guest from the moment you walk in. The food is authentic, fresh and bursting with flavor – a true treat for anyone craving South Indian and Surati dishes. And my personal favourite Surati Locho – soft, perfectly spiced, and served with a delicious chutney. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking to enjoy quality vegetarian Indian cuisine!

All items we ordered are good, definitely recommend this place. We had misal, sev khamni, pav bhaji, grilled sandwich, samosa chole, Vada Pav ( just ok, didn’t like it much)
Ps: Place is very small (4 tables only), there might be waiting to get a table.
Special order Mirchi Bajji, we loved it (especially when it was raining outside)
