Always love going to our favorite neighborhood spot. The owner, Jim, and every single staff member there makes you feel at home the second you walk in! They’re all so friendly and knowledgeable, and love helping you choose what to order. The restaurant itself is SO clean and cozy, the food is delicious and fresh, and all so reasonably priced. Favorite sushi spot in Chicago – hands down!

This is one of our favorite restaurants in Chicago. Hands down BEST SUSHI spot in Chicago if you ask me. Service is absolutely amazing and welcoming. Jim takes great care of his customers and treats them like family. Johnson and staff are truly Amazing and the whole vibe of this Chicago gem will have you feeling at home and your taste buds Screaming for more. We recommend trying the Salmon on fire, Hamachi Jalapeño, Escolar special, fried rice and all of the soups. all those dishes are must tries and please don’t forget to ask for fresh Wasabi! If you drink I also recommend the plum wine to finish your experience.

This should have a 5.0 star rating. Sai Cafe has the best sushi in all of Chicago. Best cut, freshest cut, and best portion. Whenever we go out for sushi in other cities we always compare it to Sai and there has only been 1 other to match, Billy’s in Minneapolis. The owner and staff are so kind and attentive. I suggest to pull up and sit at the sushi bar with a Kirin Light, house sake, and an order or Salmon Gone Wild! Yum!
