The wife and i LOVED our first dining experience at Sahara- the food was incredibly delicious, fresh, full of robust spice and full of flavor. The staff is very friendly and attentive and we loved the vibe and decor of the dining room. It’s our new favorite Indian Fine dining restaurant in the city and I highly recommend it to everyone!

Sahara Fine Indian Cuisine is our new favorite Indian restaurant, we have visited the location a handful of times. The restaurant is smaller and has a cozy atmosphere.

This was my first Indian food experience. My son and I ordered Chicken Curry and the Butter Chicken with a couple orders of garlic naan. Let me tell you, I have never tasted so much flavor in a single bite in my life! Every bite is an absolute explosion of flavor. Tremendous. Well priced for the amount of food you get. This will last us two meals. We tried the mild of both dishes and it was perfect for our palette. I am so happy right now. Can’t wait to bring my wife and tell others about this place. So good!!!

We got started with a free vegetable fritter appetiser. It was so good I now crave it and would go back just to eat it again. The tandoori chicken and the chicken tikka masala was good. The garlic naan was fantastic and the basmati rice was yummy though it seemed like there was a lot of butter in both. The chicken tikka masala was lacking a bit of sweetness but was pretty good considering it is in Kansas City. Will definitely be back to have more.

Delicious comfort food at reasonable prices. Free refills on chai tea. Started with complimentary crisp papadum with tamarind and mint chutney sauces. Mango Lassi is is a nice cold smoothie and the chai tea nice and warm. We ordered the parking naan and I’ve never had naan so light and thin, it is wonderful! The chicken Rogan Josh was tender and mild as ordered with plenty of flavor. Husband ordered the Chicken Korma and requested spicy. It was perfectly spiced but not overly spicy! Ended with an order of Galub Jamun and clearly couldn’t wait too devour them. Great place and great staff.

This is by far the best Indian food I’ve ever had . We travel a lot and I’ve had Indian food from coast to coast but this is unrivaled.

My friend and I went to Sahara Fine Indian Cuisine, for lunch today. Let me preface this review by admitting my adoration and love for Indian cuisine. T. is more of a novice with Indian cuisine. T. was absolutely astonished with how much she enjoyed the food and experience at Sahara.

Fantastic Indian cuisine at a reasonable price. I had the coconut curry with chicken and ordered it “hot” on a scale of mild-medium-hot. To my tastes it was the perfect blend of spicy enough to really feel it in the sinuses but not so spicy that I couldn’t enjoy the flavors. What was somewhat strange, though, is that my wife ordered butter chicken at a “medium” – which was excellent – but it hardly had any spice at all; it was more of a “mild.” Despite this disparity, we both greatly enjoyed our meals and will absolutely return to try other menu items.

Drove by after shopping at Aldi’s a few days ago and noticed the new restaurant.. Decided to try tonight. Truly had my fingers crossed it would be good…. And it absolutely was. It might be my new favorite restaurant! My husband doesn’t like Indian so I got him tandoori…. He loved it! I got chicken curry, lentils soup, white and garlic/cilantro naan, fried cauliflower…. Everything, including the rice, was amazing. We both got medium spice because we like spicy but not uncomfortable spicy… And it was perfect amount of spicy. To top it off… When we picked up our order (didn’t have time to dine in), the restaurant people (maybe owner or manger) were super pleasant! They said they just opened 2 weeks ago. They really earned their 5 star rating quickly and justified.
