Walking in here it had a familiarity of being in any restaurant serving American Classics and I was okay with it. Not over done like other places, letting their food, not the decor do the talking.
There was more than enough food to take home when we added an appetizer and naan bread.
It was awesome!!!!
We will be back. The kids devoured it. We loved it. Very reasonable prices as well.
The menu was dirty so that was a slight turn off at first but the butter masala was very tasty. I asked for medium heat and it was perfect. I could not eat it all and took it to my hotel for later.
They had some good beer options so I went with the Taj Mahal beer.
I would come back again if I was in the area.
While I waited for my order, the lady at the counter offered me a delicious cup of tea, which I thoroughly enjoyed. I was genuinely impressed by their warmth and hospitality.
The food was incredibly flavorful, and the prices were very reasonable. Overall, it was an excellent experience, and I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for authentic, great-tasting Punjabi style cuisine. This was my second visit to this restaurant. I will prefer to visit this restaurant during my next trip for sure.
The only issue that arose was that my water glass smelled strange and tasted weird, too. I drank some of my fiancee’s which was fine so I’m not sure what it was but we agreed mine was off. Otherwise, we felt that the service was good, their was a calm atmosphere, and the food was yummy
To start our dinner, we had vegetable samosas that I easily could’ve eaten piles of, they were that good.
Spice levels offered: mild, mild+, medium, medium +, and hot (this may not be 100% correct but you get the idea).
For my entree, I had Saag Paneer with mild spice. It was good but it would have been better if I’d chosen a spicier option (so that’s not their fault.) My fiancee had butter chicken that was medium+ spice and it was perfect. The garlic Naan and side of rice tied everything in well and we were very satisfied by the end of our meal.
Overall, Sahara is worth checking out!
