My sister booked a small party for 20 people here on a Saturday afternoon to celebrate my mom’s 85th
Birthday and the owner & chef of Sage along with his staff were very accommodating. They were an integral part in helping us arrange the seating and “catered” to all our needs. I believe my sister worked with the in-house catering menu, but I’m not 100% correct on that. I was so busy in conversation with all the guests that I do remember the most important dishes I did get to try. The first thing that came out that has been etched into my brain was the Thai Calamari, OMG! Absolutely delicious. The best version of Calamari I have ever had, seriously! The eggplant rollatini was very good as well. The dinner choice for my wife and I was the honey roasted salmon. Yummy to the last bite. The Italian sauce or as some call it gravy, I can drink from a bottle. It’s that yummy as well.
That was all I had by the time the party ended. We will definitely be going back there to try out the rest of the menu. Everyone was happy with the service and food, and they left pretty damn full. Just a heads up, It is a BYOB restaurant. This place is a must try for all. Happy eating! ❤️

We were warmly welcomed with a smile the moment we walked in, seated right away, and had our drinks in front of us almost instantly. The food was fresh, flavorful, and came in generous portions without losing any quality. We enjoyed the Thai chili shrimp, penne vodka with shrimp, and chicken parm—each dish cooked perfectly and full of flavor. We finished with the pistachio torta, which was absolutely delicious. Great service, great food, and an all-around great experience.

Our third time at Sage at it has been an awesome experience each time. We were greated with a smile and friendly humor each time. Staff is attentive, efficient, and friendly. Food has been fantastic each time. There is a good variety to choose from, and it is all delicious. We will definitely be making it a regular place to eat.

We happened to walk by this place around 4 PM and were likely their first guests of the day. From the outside, it looked unassuming — but the moment we stepped in, we could tell it was an upscale, fine-dining experience.
The ambiance was elegant yet relaxed, and the service was exceptional. Our server — I believe his name was Derrick (definitely started with a “D”) — was top-notch: professional, poised, and clearly seasoned. Having worked in the hospitality industry for over six years myself, I can confidently say he knew exactly what he was doing.
I ordered the Penne Arrabbiata and it was prepared just the way I requested. Along with that, we were served complimentary bread and soup — a thoughtful touch that added to the experience. The service was seamless, and Derrick was attentive to the fact that we were in a bit of a rush to catch a train at Broadway station. He even packed the rest of our meal without us having to ask. Thanks to him, we made it just in time!
This place might appear low-key from the outside, but don’t let that fool you. It’s a must-visit — a refreshing break from the typical flashy spots in NYC. Highly recommended.

We came here on 2 occasions, my father’s 80th Birthday party, and for my sister’s baby sprinkle. Delicious food, fabulous service, and a wonderful experience all around. Highly recommend for private parties or a dinner date.

Is a nice-looking restaurant with good customer service. I ordered crab cake for an appetizer, it was very good. My husband ordered the trouble fries, and he said it was very good, I ordered the Ribeye steak with onion and mushrooms, and it was ok for my taste I would like less salt in the onion and mushrooms and the meat more soft, my husband ordered chicken parm with pasta he said it was good.
Customer can bring their own bottles.
I will repeat he visit again, just ordering something different than the steak.

Had my dad’s 90th b-day catered here for our large family & everything was wonderful. Rob & crew made sure everything was setup perfect and we were never rushed at anytime. Rob was so easy to work with when deciding seating, tables, setting up a beer/wine table, meal options, etc. Everyone in the party agreed everything was awesome & commented how nice the room is for a party. There were no complaints (and my family would not be quiet if they did have any issue lol). If I could rate Sage 6 stars I would!
