This is a very nice restaurant, with a more sophisticated menu than many places in Custer. Service was excellent and attentive. The kids’ meals were well received and both the salmon and buffalo ribeye were wonderful. The vibe is still somewhat casual and the prices aren’t cheap but are reasonable. The wine list was also very good. I’d definitely recommend this restaurant if you’re looking for a great meal.

I HIGHLY recommend this restaurant. The elk sausage stuffed mushrooms were outstanding, as was the 10oz steak I had. My wife loved the salmon and son loved the kids mac and cheese. Awesome place with prices reasonable for the high quality food.

Phenomenal meal! Our server Everald suggested the stuffed mushrooms as an appetizer and he was spot on. Truly delicious. The pot pie was a work of art.

Our host at Eagles Landing B&B recommended this restaurant and it was a great recommendation. The following d and service were excellent. Our server Everald was wonderful. The Walleye appetizer was mouth watering. I could have had a second serving of it. The flavors of the sauces were perfect. I had the salmon piccata and my husband has the chicken pot pie and both were so good.

We went on a Tuesday night at 6:45pm. We did not need a reservation .

Love the National Park past and present pictures they use for decorations by Paul Horsted.

We were looking for a place to eat before our Mount Rushmore experience. We found the PERFECT place. Great Vibe. Lots of energy. Hostess was extremely attentive. Our server Siquo was EXCELLENT! Extremely busy but made us feel important. Listened to our requests attentively. Made sure our glasses were always filled. The food was FANTASTIC !! I highly recommend this restaurant. You will totally enjoy your experience.

Food was excellent! A little pricey, but well worth it.

We ordered different entrees so we could share and taste more offerings. Dinner selections higher in price, so we chose the sandwiches instead, but delicious all the same. There was a separate wine/liquor menu, but we did not order.

Atmosphere was casual and comfortable, but the food could definitely have been from a higher end establishment. I loved the simple decor throughout using poster-size prints 1874 photos with a comparison of the same actual locations in 2020! I wish I had time to study them all!

While there, a customer was obnoxious, was asked to lower his voice, and when he did not, he was asked to leave the restaurant. The owner, who could have passed for a bouncer, handled the situation with calmness and grace,

Located in the heart of town among the other shops with street parking. Open until 9 pm. Visited during Bike Week, so additional motorcycle parking was available. Will definitely patronize this establishment again when I visit the Custer, SD area again.

We stopped for lunch with our family of six. Everyone loved the food and the service was excellent. All of our entrees were perfect. The burgers were tasty and well seasoned the salad was fresh. I added the grilled salmon, which was a great choice. The youngest child got cheese pizza and he liked it. 10/10! Hope to stop again some day.

We really enjoyed this place, with friendly service and a very nice menu. We had the chicken pot pie and the bang bang noodles with salmon and both were delicious, just the right portions too. We finished it off with a delicious desert of apple and pear pastry (like a strudel). Only minor complaint was how fast the food came, hardly gave us time to enjoy the occasion. Would highly recommend.
