Overall, we enjoyed most of the food, but the experience was a bit mixed. The tempura was quite greasy, and the gyoza didn’t taste great. I was also surprised they didn’t have tonkotsu ramen, which is very popular in Japan. The staff were friendly, though one of our dishes and a requested extra didn’t arrive until we reminded them. Despite a few misses, most of the dishes were enjoyable.

During our visit to Verona, we ordered their food online a few times and it was consistently amazing. The beef udon, mix tempura udon and tempura don were equally impressive. Overall, it was a fantastic fusion of quality and taste making our meals in Verona memorable.

This is Japanese food, not some “Asian” restaurant pretending to serve Japanese food. If you are Japanese you will like this place. The UDON noodles are not some Chinese replacement as in most “Japanese dish” “Asian restaurants” in Europe. They are Japanese noodles.

Nice terras overlooking the river. We wanted only a drink and it was later on that we realised it was a sushi place. So we ordered some nice snacks as well. Very friendly staff. Very low prices. Very romantic scenery. Highly recommend.

Lovely service. Nice, brightly lit, clean space. Could have done without the American pop music though. But the real reason for the 3 stars is that this is only a fair approximation of Japanese food. Good in a pinch, but definitely not a destination.
