A variety of meals from Mexican food to American burgers. Everyone got exactly what they wanted & each plate was delicious. Also has ala carte options if you’re not so hungry.
Would recommend.

Loved the Safire Restaurant & Lounge! I went with the NY Steak and Enchiladas, ask for the steak medium rare and it was cooked to perfection! Great meal, our server was awesome. We will definitely be back! Thank you

Nice restaurant with a variety of different dishes. They also have a small bar with a big tv. Service here was good and the food was also good. It was not till after we left the restaurant we learned that John Wayne was a regular at this restaurant. He ordered breakfast in the booth next to where we sat.. and we didn’t even know it. Either way good food and this restaurant has an even greater history.

Great American/Mexican comfort food spot with a full bar and dog-friendly patio. Super clean bathroom. Food came out very fast — I had a bean burrito that was tasty and satisfying (ate the whole plate!). The patio was a little warm in direct sun, but we adjusted and my dog stayed cool. Service was very friendly. Overall a solid 3-star experience — I liked it, would come again if other options weren’t available. Great for pet-friendly travelers!

Sat on the patio with our dog
Passing through town and this was a decent stop for dinner
At the front, the girl looked annoyed or something when I asked where the restroom was. Not sure if she didn’t realize I was eating on the patio.
Had a yummy taco salad!
Service was good until the someone the server knew was seated near us. No longer checked on us and forgot to pick up our cards to pay or communicate how to pay. We went inside to pay at the front.

Went for the Friday night buffet. Very disappointed. Fish was ok, but bland. Shrimp was overcooked and tough. Crab legs were soft and rubbery, no flavor. Only condiment offered was melted butter, but it tasted like oil. No seafood or tartar sauce offered. Found out later as we were leaving, those condiments were on the salad bar in another room. The Whiskey Sunrise cocktail was good and well crafted

I’m am a self proclaimed chicken fried steak expert. Satire takes the cake over Trailriders for best CFS in Springerville. Disclaimer, I have not tried XA yet.

This is a really lovely place. This was my first time here and the food was great. The place was neat and the staff was really friendly. The staff were courteous to split the Shrimp Plate for me and my wife in separate plates. The San Juan style Taco (fried tacoty with beef patty and veggies inside) was kind of plain without a sauce. Otherwise, the Fish and Chips and the Chicken Fajita were also nice. I felt that the portion had good enough quantity with a reasonable price. Plus, in this current situation, they even check your temperature first (which is good) and maintain social distancing in the dine-in table arrangement.

Overall, I would say it’s a must try.

Great pancakes to go on a Tuesday morning to eat in front of Becker lake where the boat dock is ramp just west of Springerville going West on US Highway 60, 180/191 Main Street S Ville

But getting back to the Sapphire, where the Duke actually ate here a few times, their food is never disappointing. Don’t just eat here because John Wayne did eat here but because you are adventurous like am and so love the north Arizona White Mountains Apache County

I joined a friend for lunch and it was my first time at this restaurant. She loves Safire’s, which guarantees that I will forever mistrust her judgment with regard to eateries. Our table was sticky and the bench seat was littered with someone’s food crumbs. The ladies room was in fact cleaner than the restaurant area.
The waitress was bored and distracted. The salsa wasn’t too bad, but my enchiladas were bland, while the rice and beans were tasteless. The meal tasted as though it had been reheated by ‘chef mike’. If you crave a gloomy atmosphere and reheated, inauthentic Mexican food, this place is for you.
