This is probably the best pistachio kulfi I’ve had in a while. Tasted authentic unlike the store brands. Their Ice Gola was also very good!
I stopped by recently because we were in the mood for Indian ice cream, and I was honestly surprised. The quality and consistency of the ice cream has changed, and the taste didn’t feel the same as it used to. The service also wasn’t great, and the space could use more attention to cleanliness, especially for an ice cream shop.
This is just my experience, and it’s disappointing because this place used to be a favorite. I hope they work on improving the quality and upkeep so it can return to what it once was.
When I approached the counter, no one was present at the register. Two employees were standing away from the front, and I had to call out to place my order. When one employee came to the register, the interaction felt rude and dismissive. After taking my order, the staff continued talking among themselves. When I stood nearby, I was told I would be called when the food was ready, in a tone that felt unwelcoming.
The overall behavior of both employees made me uncomfortable and concerned about the care being taken with my food. Because of this lack of trust and poor customer service, I discarded the Vada Pav in the trash in front of the employee rather than consume it.there could be many reason, Maybe Management is not paying enough to employees and they Perform Poor with Customers.
It is disappointing because the Vada Pav here is usually very good. However, customer service and professionalism are just as important as the quality of food.
I hope management addresses this issue seriously.
Now coming to quality the ice cream itself has some Indian flavors but the texture is very granule.
I would expect it to be more soft and fresh. Their spoon shape is really good.
We tried sugar cane juice. The small 1 cost 5$ which is on expensive side and it is too much of water. Looks like they added water to dilute the juice. It comes in flavors like ginger and lemon. The sugar cane used is as well very thin and sleek.
They had some masala tea/chai which is also very watery. We did see that added some masala but again it did not add any great flavor to the chai since the milk is very less.
One of the picture has menu for reference.
We tried the rose falooda which was very light, nothing is overpowering or sugary.
I would definitely recommend anyone who loves mellow ice cream flavors to try these we loved pistachio, saffron, rose, gulkand and chikoo
Very nice location little india village on pioneer blvd. This ice cream shop is very small. Bathrooms r side of bldg, request a key if u want to use it. I tried malai kulfi and saffron falooda both taste alright nothing great, weather was hot so I just tried out.
Nepali little girl took my order she was very nice n polite.
By the way i am not happy about the $1 fee they charge for using card, this seems unnecessary. Pls replace your staff with happy faces. Thanks.
