We went today 2/26/2026 for lunch. It was OKAY, nothing to write home about. The waiter brought us water then asked us what we wanted to eat. He never came back and gave us more water. It seemed we waited quite awhile for the waiter to arrive. Once we got our food. It was good. It wasn’t very good. I would not be in a hurry to go back anytime soon. I had the chicken kabobs and we split the hummus appetizer. The olive oil seemed watered down. The pita bread was good. The hummus was Okay.

What an excellent Mediterranean restaurant hidden in plain site. This family tradition of culinary dining is a close to being in the Mediterranean. Saffron old fashioned. Amazing cabbage roles. Tender lamb shank and Greek style salads. Don’t forget dessert with

When we first walked in, it was empty since no one was there for lunch. As time went on, it got more crowded, a moderate amount of people though, just some people minding their own business.
At first glance, the atmosphere was calm and authentic, very promising. Our server was kind and promised to do his best with serving us since we’d been starving for around 5 hours for wrestling. He took our orders, which we got one of the appetizer combos and he did serve us. He had to go back after giving us the Platte for utensils though, which was a slight interference with our experience. I’d ordered a lemonade, and my friend a Pepsi, but he’d forgotten to give us our drinks and w had to remind him after 10+ minutes with no sight of him getting anything. He was just chatting with his co-worker like we weren’t just sitting there like a pack of hungry wolves. The food was okay, like what you’d expect from a Mediterranean restaurant. I got the grilled lambchop and my friend got one of the kabob meals, the lambchops were small, and burnt. The kabob meal was pretty good though. I’d also gotten a side of fries because they’d ran out of potatoes. You’d think that the fries would only take 5 minutes tops, but the chef took about 15, and not only were they sliced weirdly, some of the fries were burnt. Like black burnt edges.
Overall, the food was okay, the waitress was constantly distracted, and the service was generally disappointing. Wouldn’t come back here again..

I really loved the food here. I ordered the Beef Kabob and the Lamb Shank. The meat was very soft and delicious. The rice was fresh and tasty too. The place is clean and the service is friendly. I will definitely come back!

I am always on the lookout for great Persian food. Saffron did not disappoint. When I read the menu and saw Koobideh, I was pretty sure it was in the right place. The chicken kebab and the rice were great too. I will be back.

Growing up in Germany I got the chance to eat a variety of international dishes and I miss them. Finding this gem was pure coincidence by my daughter. Big bonus most dishes, if not all, are gluten free. I highly recommend this restaurant. The service is amazing and makes one feel very welcomed.

Amazing food and a wonderful atmosphere! Everything was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. If you’re in Tulsa, you should definitely come and try it. The owner, Shadi Khanom, is also incredibly kind and welcoming. Highly recommended!

My husband and I stumbled across this delightful little restaurant while running errands in Tulsa. We were getting hangry and losing hope of finding a healthy option that would be quick enough to keep groceries in the vehicle. We gave Saffron a try and it did not disappoint! The tzaziki was amazing. We tried the kabobs and they were tender and flavorful. Their salad was fresh and crisp with a light dressing that paired everything perfectly. We will definitely be back to try out other items on the menu.
