But after we sat the the table, they told us that we cannot dine in as we did not order enough main dishes. We were three persons and we ordered 2 fried rice, 1 mushroom pilau and 1 vegetable pakora. Still waiter told that order is not enough to dine in after we all sat inside. And they are really nonsense enough to inform that fried rice and pilau is a side. And they forced us to take away and not dine in. We were then asked to pay some stupid take away price which is slightly more than dine in price as well.
Mention that nonsense policy in writing, outside the restaurant so that people can avoid the restaurant altogether beforehand entering.
Avoid it. There are better restaurants in inverness which provides better service.
First of all I must say how kind the staff were to my wife who drove there to fetch the food – they even offered to carry the bag out to the car as well as offer her a free drink .
So , the Staff were brilliant .
Secondly , the food –
Without doubt…this is the BEST Indian Take Away we’ve had since our trip down to Birmingham 5 years ago .
Well done , Chef , the Prawn Tikka Masala , Chicken Balti , Bringal Bhaji , Bombay Aloo , Pilau Rice and Keema Nan were all
first class . We live over 100 miles away but we shall be back !!
I will recommend you to everyone I know .
Paneer was too chewy.
Aloo was tasteless and undercooked.
We requested onion and he served white onions and not salad onion and had the audacity to charge for that.
Definitely not recommended.
We were then told that we could only dine in if we followed their “five main dishes per person” policy. This was neither convenient nor practical. We would have gladly ordered as much as we needed even more than five dishes, including starters, but they specifically required us to order five main courses each. Even though this was unreasonable, we were hungry and might have overlooked the inconvenience. However, the dismissive attitude and the way it was communicated made us feel very unwelcome.
As a result, we chose not to dine there, so we cannot comment on the food. But the service was utterly disappointing. I sincerely request the restaurant management to address this issue.
All the flavours were perfectly balanced and each dish was cooked to perfection. Whether you prefer a milder or spicier variant, they have a curry for every palate. The homemade touch truly shines through. Definitely recommend to try Aloo Saag, Hathcora curry, Lamb madras – all rich and aromatic.
The menu is diverse, offering a wide range of options for both vegetarians and non-vegetarians. The portion sizes were generous.
To top it all off, the prices were very reasonable for the quality and quantity of food you receive.
