We recently visited an Indian restaurant with a group of friends and overall we had a very enjoyable evening. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, making it a great place to relax and catch up. The restaurant had a lively but comfortable feel, and the décor added to the pleasant dining experience.
There was plenty of choice on the menu, with a wide variety of traditional Indian dishes to suit different tastes. The food was excellent — full of flavour, well-presented, and served in a timely manner. Everything we ordered arrived promptly, and the quality of the dishes did not disappoint.
However, the only issue arose when we received the bill. It included a compulsory 10% service charge that had not been mentioned to us beforehand. When we questioned this, we were told that menu prices had not been increased in 12 months and that the restaurant needed to “get the money somehow.” Unfortunately, the staff did not respond positively to our concern.
In my view, customers should be clearly informed about any compulsory service charge before ordering, so they can make an informed decision about whether to dine there. Transparency is important in hospitality.
Overall, the food and atmosphere were very good, but the unexpected service charge slightly overshadowed what would otherwise have been an excellent experience.

Weird experience in this Indian restaurant. Clay pot chicken came in a glass bowl, chicken biryani was served with rice and some kind of chicken curry on the side. Never seen that before., Nans were not the typical we get in london. Restaurant is catered more towards the locals in mid Wales. A very different Indian compared to London. This restaurant will not last a month in the south.

Friendly staff and helpful from the moment you walk in. They give you time to have a drink and look at the menu before taking you to your table which was already set up with some appetisers before our starters arrived. The food was excellent and well presented.

This place was stunning. The location is beautiful. The staff were so friendly and helpful and on top of that the food was divine. In my eyes a very large menu to decide from and we’ll definitely be back to try more of what they have to offer. Thanks.

Food was very good and also the service was second to none. But the prices were way too high for what was on offer. Ie A large orange juice and lemonade with ice. £4.20 and a glass of cheep Pinot Grigio £7.25. It makes you afraid to ask for extras because you know you are going to get stung. For a one course meal and a couple of drinks came to £58.60 and on top of this they had the cheek to add a 10% service charge to which I refused to pay. We used to go to this place years ago when it was good and affordable but now we will not return due to the unreasonable prices.
