I’m giving this place two stars because the coffee and the service is actually good but good luck catching them open. They are not open in regular coffee house hours when you are looking for a coffee they are closed multiple days during the week and only open at 10am! If you need a coffee before then, which is when most people do, I would suggest black smoke coffee though they are further away. I do not understand why they carry those hours it seems they don’t want to make money I would think the hours they are closed should be their rush hour times. Not only that but parking is super scarce so you have to park super far away and walk most times. Again, super cute place, the staff is great and so is the coffee but it’s challenging to even get a coffee most times.

Super cute and comfortable space to enjoy delicious beverages, tasty muffins, and soothing music. The customer service was amazing, and everyone was very friendly. I love that the business supports local artists by displaying their work at the establishment. VERY AFFORDABLE!!!
I think I just found my new working space!!

Really cool coffee shop with an old south feel. Had some swanky flavors. Tried the missoula tea and a vanilla latte, was great. Comfy seating and a cool downtown location. The cashier was super cool and animated. Good vibes for sure in Griffin

You’ve gotta love the simplicity of a good cup of coffee. I purchased a large, black coffee with a bit of honey. It was enjoyable as was the laid back, vintage atmosphere speckled with a backdrop of old-school jazz. Safehouse Coffee Roasters is a great afternoon, off-the-path coffee stop spot.

If you’re in downtown Griffin, Georgia, you absolutely cannot miss Safehouse Coffee Roasters! This delightful coffee shop is a true gem, offering not only a cozy and eclectic atmosphere but also some of the best coffee I’ve ever had. From the moment you step inside, you’re greeted by a calming vibe thath invites you to relax and enjoy your time there.
The coffee itself is exceptional—each cup is crafted with care from ethically sourced beans, which makes every sip feel rewarding. Whether you’re a fan of classic brews or adventurous specialty drinks, Safehouse has something to satisfy your palate.
What truly sets this place apart, though, is the staff. They are incredibly kind and welcoming, always ready to offer recommendations or just chat about your day. It’s clear that they genuinely care about their customers and the quality of their coffee.
If you’re looking for a peaceful spot to unwind or catch up with friends, Safehouse Coffee Roasters is the perfect choice. I can’t recommend it highly enough!

These are some of the kindest staff, and their coffee is delicious! You can tell the quality of the roast (I got a latte)—smooth and flavorful. The ambiance of the shop also can’t be matched. It’s affordable, high quality, vibin’—it’s the quintessential coffee shop!

Spent a ton of time here when I was in high school/college, and it’s super disappointing now to see that it’s only open 4 days (28 hours a week!) and, according to other reviews/word of mouth from folks in the area, less than even the advertised operating hours most weeks. Sad that there doesn’t seem to be a good place to go to work or study and enjoy a coffee or tea in Griffin anymore, unless you want to go to a major corporate chain like Starbucks. I just truly can’t understand who is keeping this place in business with these absurd hours. Seems like a waste of prime downtown real estate.

Visiting Griffin and a friend recommended me to stop by this coffee shop and got to say it is delicious and the employees were very nice and friendly. Also the ambiance and music very chill. So if you in the area definitely recommend stopping by for your cup of coffee or tea which they have a nice variety.

The best coffee house in Griffin. The espresso and coffees are hand crafted with quality ingredients. Baristas know their craft. The atmosphere is relaxed with a bit of funk. It’s on a main street in old downtown, so parking can be tight.

Cute little coffee shop with nice decor and friendly staff. I love how they are informative to ensure you ate making right decision. It’s a la carte so that 4 dollar coffee can turn into 9 real quick. But I enjoy the atmosphere and staff.
