I’ve been a customer of this establishment for about a year. They offer the BEST gluten free, diabetic friendly baked and prepared food along with made when order drinks. I can’t say enough as to how delicious everything is! Plus, I’m always greeted with a smiling face and helpful staff worker named Becca. Please stop in and try what they have to offer!

I’ve been a customer of Safe and Sweet pretty much since its inception. Laura and her crew do an exceptional job of going above and beyond for all their customers. Ive ordered custom
Order items multiple times and they have been perfect every time. The white chocolate buckeyes and blueberry pop tarts are to die for! I also love that you can buy hard to find keto items that I would otherwise have to order online. In particular, I always know where to get my panko pork rinds, Rebel ice cream and ChocZero syrups! I also love that Laura is a homegrown girl and I’ve loved watching her and her business grow.

Adorable atmosphere with friendly faces that great you. Delicious food but my fav was the yummy iced coffee Laura made me.
There are so many different options for those who need to eat this way, who just want to eat this way, or would like to try before buying all of the expensive ingredients to make for yourself at home.
Prices are spot on for the time & material that it takes to make keto/sugar free/gluten free foods.
Make sure you stop by and try a few things. And don’t leave a nasty review because of taste- that’s really not fair for such a custom type of food that has a much different taste than our chemical laden foods.

I don’t usually give low reviews and I really wanted to like this place, but it unfortunately wasn’t great. I went to the stall at Lancaster Central Market and got the pumpkin protein cookie and lavender lemonade. The center of the cookie was really mushy, it tasted undercooked. It was also extremely sweet, I think it could’ve used 5x less sugar and been better. It had a really bad, almost chemical-y taste I think from the monk fruit or whatever sugar was used (I’ve had alternate sugars in baked goods before and never tasted anything like this). The lavender lemonade was pretty good. I also didn’t see prices listed but that might’ve been an oversight on my end, but I was surprised when I saw the receipt in my email to see the cookie was $8 The girl working there was also sick and really sniffly when handing me my stuff. Maybe I need to try more things on the menu, but I wanted to share this so people know who are looking to buy these items, as I know it can be hard finding good sugar-free, gluten-free treats!

I went into this bakery yesterday- I started elimination of gluten, dairy, and egg about two weeks ago. I was craving pastry sweets and was shocked when I found this shop on Google, and less than 30 mins from me! I went in asking about any egg-free options, and the staff pointed out several vegan treats. I was so excited because I wasn’t expecting there to be so many options! I purchased a tagalong bar, blueberry poptart, and blueberry muffin. They were each so flavorful and moist, and the textures were so normal. I think the baker is very talented! I can’t imagine being able to create these pastries and desserts with such alternative, limited ingredients! This business is so needed. Thank you!

I’ve always had great customer service and enjoy a variety of the savory and sweets they offer. The pinwheels and Crab pretzels are to die for and all the seasonal items are perfect for holidays where you want to indulge without the guilt. Absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a healthier alternative or to anyone with dietary restrictions.

I’ve been to the central market location a few times, and have unfortunately been disappointed each time, but just figured I picked the wrong item. Yesterday I got the pumpkin roll (about 1/3 the size of a regular pumpkin roll) which was $18. $18!!! The price was not labeled, so that’s on me, I should have asked. I wouldn’t have minded the steep price if it was good, but it was inedible. The allulose sweetener made the cream “cheese” gritty and sickeningly fake sweet. I had a few bites but felt sick for the rest of the day. I am all about supporting small businesses and I rarely leave negative reviews, but I can’t justify almost $20 for what I received.

Safe and sweet is one of my favorite Lancaster Central Market stops when I’m trying to keep the sugar intake low but am craving something sweet! Her food doesn’t feel heavy or have a negative effect on my system it just makes me happy! And the owner is hard working self aware woman that just makes me want to support who she is and what she provides to the world. It’s not just about the food at Safe & Sweet. It’s about the good energy she brings to world as well.

This is my first time coming here and it wasn’t bad. I bought the chocolate peppermint cookies (just ok-not much flavor) (even for keto). Maybe I’ll get used to them. The Boston cream donut was not too good. Very light on the cream and donut was very dense inside. I understand that these are keto and they won’t be as fluffy and delicious as a regular one but I’ve used monk fruit and it tastes very similar to regular sugar. The gingerbread cheesecake had the best flavor. That I will buy again.

I was looking for sweet treats in the area and found this place and thought it was cute ! I went in to order and I got two cider donuts out of the bakery cooler they were sitting in and paid 14.00 of my hard earned money for these donuts when they were handed to me they were cold so I asked the cashier if they were supposed to be cold and she said yes . I left to get in my car and try them and they were not tasty to me so I hesitated going inside to ask for something else because I do not like conflict . So I went into the store and the same cashier came out who was nice to me by the way and I said these exact words “ hey , not to be rude but I did not find these to be tasty and they were cold “ before I could even say anything else the OWNER LAURA came flying over the back telling me “ leave them on the counter and do not come back “ and I told her to calm down because I hadn’t even had a chance to finish my sentence . I asked her if I could get something else because I did pay $14 for TWO donuts and she said no you can leave and not come back . And I let her know I wasn’t being rude to her I just didn’t like the donuts and she told me to leave and that I would not be receiving a refund and I asked for her name and she gave it to me and told me to leave the review . As a Christian woman first and foremost I felt horrible because I’m not rude to people and she was completely nasty and as a woman of color it did not feel good but regardless of the shade of my skin no one deserves to be cut off while talking and told to get out and never come back . Would I recommend this place I’m not , maybe she’ll be nicer to you , maybe she was having a bad day . There’s Grace for her but she should be held accountable for her actions .
