We are not locals of the area but decided that after touring the newport mansions we’d give this place a shot. Boy, did we make the right decision. For starters their French onion soup was the best I’ve ever had anywhere, and I eat out quite often. Everything we ordered was delicious. The drinks were fantastic and the service was beyond good. I wish I could remember the young gentlemen’s name, but he really was very attentive. Also, I can’t go without mentioning the beautiful water view. Definitely check this place out, it will not disappoint.

The view is amazing! Smelled a little musty when we came in to the restaurant, could be the outdated carpeting. The menu is very simple (which is a plus for me, one is not bombarded with so many choices!) We ordered the tuna ceviche, burger and swordfish club. Food was more than very good and a good portion. I just wish they are dog-friendy, our pug would’ve loved it too! Will definitely come back here for the view!

The place is upscale and environment is nice, food was not. We ordered a French onion soup, it was cold, sent back to be reheated and still cold. Caesar salad with basically no dressing and umami flavor. Got 2 filet dinners, one steak overcooked to well done (order med) and fingerling potato still relatively hard with just salt as seasoning. Nothing to be impressed about aside from the view.

Both great food AND a great location? Yes! This is not a common combination but the Safari Room delivers.We heard was a popular place during the summer so we grabbed a reservation The staff is really nice and helpful. The location on the water is spectacular, especially for sunset. The drinks were great. The menu is diverse. The food was incredible!

We came here to celebrate our friend’s birthday! Food was great. Service was incredible! We had Bobby as our waiter and he made the experience FABULOUS! He made many accommodations to make sure our dietary needs were met and went above and beyond to make our dining experience great. Thank you Bobby!
