If Jimmy Buffett’s “Bama Breeze” is a song about the kind of place that lives forever in your memory—a beachside bar where you never drink alone, where the atmosphere knows your mood before you do—then Saeed’s in Cornelius is its scrappier, landlocked cousin… At its best, Saeed’s is where you go not for polish but for people—for the karaoke song that turns strangers into backup singers, the night you remember the next morning with a laugh. Buffett sang, “At the Bama Breeze you are one of us down there”—and on the right night, Saeed’s can feel exactly like that… a Relic. A memory. A great place to have a drink. The drinks turn into memories. The drunk karaoke. The air smells like spilled Miller Lite and cheap cologne. Some nights feels alive—like the world’s last honest dive. You’ve got pool tables cracking, $4 beer sweating on the counter, and somebody belting Bon Jovi like they mean it. For a minute, you’re part of something, even if it’s messy…

Very much a dive, they do try to take advantage of you. You’re drunk and steal from you. So look out for that, on all the bar is disgusting The bathrooms are gross wouldn’t trust the taps everything looks dirty. It’s always sticky and gross in there. Only reason why anybody goes there is because they are open late.

Went here on a Monday night. Place had a crowd but wasn’t packed. The service from the owner was perfect and the atmosphere was extremely comfortable. The back yard patio though is the place to hang out. Has so many different things to do. Honestly a great place to relax and enjoy.

The atmosphere was nice, owner was very nice. Karaoke every night, it looks like it’s closed do to lighting on the outside. But they are just waiting for them to be fixed, INSIDE is nice and clean, the food was awesome, drinks also. Please stop by and help the business

Apparently you need to buy a drink to sing karaoke when multiple people have already been singing. The owner is clearly miserable behind the bar, and I kind of get it as a previous bartender of 12 years. Maybe have someone else talk to customers? ♀️ Disaster. If you’re looking for a dirty college bar with rude owner then this is your spot!

It was my first time going. Owner was super aggressive regarding my ID. I wasn’t drinking just playing. Ping pong. He even walked behind me and my friend to check that we had left. It was super weird encounter do not recommend

I’m pretty upset at the experience I had last night. I’m a regular around Cornelius and Saeed’s. Always tip, never difficult. Loved the free karaoke. I’ve heard about not using a card here but I was charged $170 last night for a $40 tab. One $50 transaction and one $60 transaction separately than my $40 tab. So $160 for a $40 night. Looked up the names of the “businesses” that showed up on my statement and they didn’t exist.

It’s a fun karaoke bar! My seltzer was a little pricey, but beyond that it was fun!

First time here, friend had violent encounter with another patron.. owner handled situation poorly. Would not recommend to others, especially women as it did not feel like a safe environment.
