One of the best owned black business’s in the community!! Their flounder platters are beyond amazing!!! My husband and I order fish from here twice a week. My 17 month old is picky about meat, but destroys the flounder! This place was suggested by a family friend.

Ordered through door dash and they didn’t have Mac and cheese for starters. The yams are canned yams with barely any flavor. They give small portions of rice and forgot the cornbread and gave me a roll. For $70 worth of food it was not worth it at all. I always try to support black owned businesses and this was not a good choice in my opinion. My kids didn’t like it either so it was a waste of money. The rice was the decent. That’s about it.

This man snapped at me over the phone for asking if I can buy more of his food. The mac & cheese here is the worst I’ve ever had and the customer service is even worse. It seems like he’s hired someone else to answer phones now after the extensive poor reviews for his store. So discouraging and plain disrespectful.

I’ve ate here twice in a week usually on Saturday and I have to say I was very pleased with their customer service and their food and their prices it’s only around the corner from my house they’ll definitely be getting more business from me as well as references they are a great overall place to eat

This restaurant has messed up my order several times on doordash. Collard green taste like they are drowned in salt and vinegar. They send incorrect items without calling to tell you they are out of what was initially ordered and will write it on the box instead. The fish they sent me wasn’t even fully cooked and the potatoes in the potato salad were hard.

Sad’s was reasonably good. I was treated with respect. The food was tasty. The prices are fair imo. Waiting area small and hot, no dinning. I suggest “to go” only.

Placed my order on DoorDash, I receive a call asking if I cancelled the order, which at that point I said “No, I’m literally looking at the order still active in my app” the person that didn’t even introduce themselves said okay and hung up. I’m watching and waiting for my order in the app the next thing I know my doordasher calling saying the owner won’t give him my food because the order was cancelled, I spent over $50 on two platters mind you. So the dasher goes back into the store because I asked to speak to the owner, the owner in the back yelling talking all crazy about me trying to get free food. I calmly told the guy through my dasher because he wouldn’t even speak to me about it, I told him that my phone says my dasher is waiting for the order and my dashers phone said the same. He’s still in the background yelling about how I’m not on his level to speak to him, I guess assuming I was trying to steal food….turns out his machine was wrong and instead of apologizing or offering to correct the situation, he hung up me as I was trying to gain clarity about what even happened as I was still confused. He even admitted he was the one who called about the order cancelling and admitted that he had heard me say “no I didn’t cancel it” so why go through all that unnecessary bullshit? On a $50 order at that, so needless to say I won’t be back.
