First off, the menu from the web page is outdated. They do not have tomahawk steaks to our dismay. Second, our appetizers were amazingly good, even for a bar. The garlic Parmesan wings were very crispy with just the right about of sauce and cheese. We also got the hot pepper cheese balls with a side of ranch. The ranch is very good and does not taste like any ranch that I’ve ever had before. Now for all the bad stuff. The celery stick that came with the wings has rotted ends. This was easily noticed by the slime and discoloration, which should have been noticed by the cook who put it with the wings. Disgusting! I ordered a grilled chicken salad. The salad was just plain old salad mix you can buy at a grocery store, chunks of lettuce hearts, too many carrots pieces and dark green rotting leaves were all too present. The fries were cold and limp, and the chicken, albeit had good flavor, was obviously precooked and reheated because it was extremely dry. Terrible! My wife got the steak and Swiss sub with a side order of warm soggy fries. The steak was chunky not sliced and not very present on the extremely large bun that it came on. The Swiss flavor overpowered any taste of steak that was available. The bun was fresh and toasted well. Service was average, nothing special. Not very busy at 5pm. The pop we had was a little weak, not terrible, but noticeable. My advice is to just get the wings if you stop here, otherwise I’ll have to pass.

Our first time. We started with a flavored long island ice tea and a Guinness draft in a frosty mug. Both were excellent. Then we had a bowl of chili, excellent flavor few beans but luke warm to cold. Took it home to reheat. Then we had a cowboy burger and a habanero burger. Both were very good. However the fries were both under seasoned and over fried for our liking. The service was excellent and the owner very receptive to comments. We hope to try again when we are in the area.

1st timer and I was impressed with how big it is both inside and out. We sat on the patio which was very cute and loved the bar swings. Food and drinks were good. I definitely recommend this place.

Love this place!! Best “Pittsburgh salads” ever!! The steak sandwiches are amazing, too. Great place to eat. They always have specials. The staff is always friendly and keep your drinks full. Bathrooms are always clean!

NOT CCW FRIENDLY!!! They have a sign on the door but I was told that was for the weekends only. I tried to tell them a person cannot legally carry with the sign and they pointed out there was no ord. number in the sign. Carry at your own risk. The wife ordered hot chocolate but they were out. I had the filled tip and it was very good. The picture showed the diner with onions and mushrooms. Apparently they don’t come with the meal and are an add on which I would have gladly bought had the server tried to upsale me. The onion rings that were thick were soggy.

My husband and I got salads… they used to be good steak was burned when he orders medium fries were to hard to chew I think they were yesterdays reheated… we told the waitress and she was ignorant ..!! She told the manager and we got 10$ off she slammed the bill on the talble and said if you don’t like it it talk to so and so… whatever… don’t go here it’s terrible…

I love there food. Steaks especially. I usually get my food to go. So not to sure about atmosphere. But tha place is always packed on weekends, so must be good. But for a small town with not to many places to get a good steak at this is definitely the place to go. Next time I get food I’ll update with pics

This is an awesome country style restaurant! It was better than I expected! I got a burger and it was excellent! My girlfriend and I ate here back in August, and we really enjoyed it, and will definitely be back! It’s a bit of a drive for us, because we live near Washington, PA, but we were in the area and went to the Hookstown Fair. Great, friendly waitresses and waiters, and a relaxing, cozy, country atmosphere!
